I attended this congregation between 1990 and 1996. I am not sure why someone would say they are not a Jewish congregation. Most people there were Jewish and more observant of Torah than most reformed Jews I am related to. Maybe things have changed since 1996 but I suspect this is just a misunderstanding of how Jews can embrace Yeshua as Messiah without adopting the history and teachings of European Christianity. These are good, honest people. Do not try to rob them of their Jewish identity just because they disagree with other Jews about who and what the Messiah is. I disagree with my biological brothers all the time. I even think they have some stupid ideas, but I can't say they are not my brothers. My mom would beg to differ. Todah rabah, shalom.
