Story

Second Helpings Thrift Store is stocked with your donations! All donations to our store are tax deductible. We accept household goods like clothes, books, shoes, kitchen items, home decor, furniture, and much more! In addition, we accept hangers, clothing racks, and other retail supplies. We are unable to accept items that pose a danger to our staff and/or customers. For specific inquiries, please call.

We accept donations at our store during business hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 10-6) as well as at our 24 hour drop off shed on the south side of our building. Please call to arrange a large item pick up.

I've been going to this thrift store every month for 4 years now. It took me a little while to discover it even though it's only a few blocks from my home. The first 3 business days of every month everything in the store is half off. I usually time my visits to those days. When I first moved to Montana I had very little to furnish my house with. This store helped me completely furnish my home within a few months. I've spent many hours in there just browsing. I often walk away with a full shopping cart with only spending roughly $30. The customer service is impeccable! Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. After going there 4 years I feel like they're friends. They have a wide selection and during the first week the turnover is really fast. Several times I've changed my mind about buying something and gone back to purchase and it's gone. They also have some really good quality antiques in there for reasonable prices. I love this store and I'm so happy I found it.
This store is going out of business. There were plenty of nice items still available but I wasn't able to find anything I needed in the short time in was there. There was always a variety of items and I never left empty handed. The deals of the week were awesome and the store was quite a hit for the valley. It is unfortunate to see them close their doors for good.
Way too many clothes that are unorganized. A young girl was at the checkout and was not very nice. I told her she should always be nice when working in customer service. I wasn't rude, just asking about prices. She was exasperated and said people are always haggling over price when we have set prices. Maybe the prices should be much lower for the over priced used stuff these so called thrift stores have. It is getting tiresome not being able to afford thrift stores!!! If prices were lower they might get rid of some of the junk and make room for more DONATED stuff...just sayin...
I would skip the other thrift stores in town they are overpriced and all about the money now. Salvation Army is ridiculous for prices. The prices are great and they always have days that it is 75% off 50% off. Great place to go and it's support the food bank so it helps a lot of people directly instead of going into other people's pockets
Kind of hit or miss. Sometimes have some really good stuff other time not much. Prices are good, store is very organized, seems to not have a whole lot of product turnover. I will go a few months between visits and see the same items on the shelves as the last time I was in there.
This used to be a very enjoyable thrift store. Now it's really disorganized. The isles are kept clear anymore. My last visit I found myself unable to navigate through the store with my walker. Very unsafe. They also now have raised alot of prices claiming they handle alot of antiques. I'm very disappointed.
Everyone that works at this place is wonderful and has always been very kind. They have great sales and they are wiling to work on price and I get the feeling when I go in there that they actually care about the person buying something not just how much money they can make out of donated items! I got a very nice couch there for a great price and they even loaded it in my trailer for me!
Best thrift store ever. Lots of good stuff, well organized, super nice people, and amazing prices and sales.
I go there two or three times a month I've gotten a lot of items from there all in excellent condition
This thrift store seems to be cleaner , doesn't smell and less crowded with stuff and more organized than most!
