There is a woman there who does a killer coffee. I took the oat milk latte and it taste so dense, so creamy and the delicious burnt taste of the coffee. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an amazing coffee. Their snacks have been my all time favourite from different coffee spots. Worth a shot!
An okay café to sit. At least they have vegan options though very few! - however, it's impersonal and not cozy at all. They should put some different furniture like a small couch or comfortable chairs.
Decent cuppaccino & brewed coffee but consistently dry, and unappetizing muffins, cakes. Am still disappointed that they chose this hospital decor for the interior 5/6 years ago. Not cozy in winter or comfortable in summer-most people prefer to sit outside. Cant blame this on Covid as they changed the decor well before 2020. Not sure what they were thinking to make a coffee place look like a medical clinic ? Laval needs more coffee places, as there is not enough competition. At the end of the day, you have to settle for mediocrity.
I went here for caramel carretto and the cashier/ barista didn't know how to process a coupon. I had to pay full so people in line didn't have to wait.
I think this is why Starbucks is kicking Second Cup’s a@@. It was confusing from the beginning, not sure if it’s because there were lots of people and they work better with a slower flow. We ordered coffee and sandwich combos, picked our sandwiches but had to go back to the front of the line to pick them up and give them to the counter. Then we placed a coffee order and weren’t sure where and when to pick them up. They don’t need to write the names on the cups like Starbucks does but there has to be an understanding from the customer went to pick up the drinks. There seem to be a lot of stuff with each other to create a flow. It was confusing for us and imagine it was the same for others that were waiting in line. With pumpkin lattes pumping out, how do you know which one is your order. I thought the staff worked hard to make the effort but they fell short. So they get an extra star for that. Was delivered the wrong coffee but they corrected it immediately! Sandwiches were toasted but cold inside. If you need help guys, feel free to reach out to us ! ; A generous 3* because they had the right attitude and effort. Large and clean washrooms, despite the heavy rush.
My friend and I went in. A woman said hello and walked away talking on a phone I didn't see or hear her, my friend did. We waited a bit. She never came back to serve us. We left. It's very cold in there too! The A/C is way too strong.
I'd love to study and do my works here. Good vibe, nice staff. Of course great coffee
Constant quality from this business and attention to detail. Quality service from employees and manager, often seen at the counter. Happy to see them going through all this.
How can you fail so badly at making coffe when your a coffe shop... Asked for a double expresso long... I got a cup full, was almost as much as a can of soda. I wash shocked told the girl thats not my order and of corse in their great glorious service, the customer is never right apparently, she gave me attitude telling me that the way its should be because thats the way the machine spits it out.... Straight into the garbage and never again. Impressive how they can still be in business after witnessing this.
The owner is rude, some of the staff is super friendly yet others are just plain rudeespecially in the morning. The website says they close at 9 yet we’ve been told to leave at 6 or 7 and they say it’s too quiet so we’re going to close earlierthis place is always full of students trying to study or it’s because of Covid…The drinks are well made and the ambience is nice but the wrong hour schedule and rude staff makes you rethink twice before stepping foot in that coffee shop.
