Stopped by for dinner and so happy we did. The food was amazing and the service was even better! The new owners were so accommodating and friendly. We ordered the arroz con pollo and carne asada burrito with a couple of virgin lime margaritas. Everything tasted so fresh and the portions were huge! We'll definitely be back!
What a local gem. The service is IMPECCABLE! They treat you like family, from the moment you walk in. I asked if he could make a coconut margarita, which is kind of rare to get at any restaurant and he immediately said yes. It was exactly what I wanted! Joaquin is amazing. He is so friendly and kind. He goes out of his way to give you the best service. Their food and drinks are great, and they will accommodate you!!!! Please try this place out, you won’t regret it. Support a local business, because it matters.
Decent, but could be better. My house margarita was on point, and the flavors on the ground beef and picadillo shredded beef were PERFECT. Not bland like is common up here. Chips and salsa were also great. Some room for improvement: Queso dip seemed overly processed…didn’t thicken as it got cold, which means a lot of processing and emulsifiers. Portion size could be bigger, at least for the crispy tacos at $5 each. Three tacos, especially at $5 each, usually fills me, but didn’t here. Service - The service was fine until I mentioned my tacos were’t made how I ordered them no veggies. Then, my server got a bit sarcastic and did nothing to make things right. That left a bad taste in my mouth when I left. I don’t regret eating here, but I can’t say I’d eat here again.
Worst margarita I’ve ever had. Tried two sips and could not force down anymore. The chips were inedible. Not stale - just inedible. I’m not even sure how that’s possible. The good reviews must be from previous ownership. Wasn’t even asked why we were leaving after two minutes with two full drinks on the table. Extremely disappointing.
I went for dinner and the food was awful. Cold to luke warm. The quality was like being pre-cooked and then heated. There are much better Mexican restaurants. Over the years there has been a few owners. That tells you something. At this rate don’t be surprised that the place will either close again or have another new ownership.
It was the worst chalupa I have ever had. I showed the waiter how tough the chicken and shell was but he didn't do anything about it, didn't seem to care and said he would fill out a report to the chef. We probably should have gotten the message when we noticed that there was nobody else in the place other than us at lunch time on a Saturday.
Amazing food, steak is tender and chips are crisp! Such good flavor! Amazing service made us feel right at home! Will be back soon!
We we're really polite, understanding and patient. Willing to lay down as much money as needed for good food. We asked for a burrito with just steak and pico. Nothing else. Gladly willing to pay whatever extra. When we went to pick up our food the lady said the cook said we could never make this again because the burrito was to small....we have never been through this before. We didnt care the size or cost we just wanted good food and reviews were great. But she said we cant order it anymore. Our bill was $42 not a problem but now we wont be back because we can't order a burrito because it's not big enough? Sucks since they have good food. Not sure why during a pandemic when business has to be some down you would even complain about anything. Good food extremely poor service. And as you see the picture it was a good size.
The food is disgusting! I ordered through Uber Eats and had sour cream x2 and guacamole added $3 each, totally $9 and they never sent it! What a waste of money and a sad Cinco De Mayo. :
Food was ok. The pork tacos were not very flavorful, so that was disappointing. Service was above average, but lighting was extremely dim and health department change rating from "Good" to "Okay" during our meal, so that was a definite negative. They have free kids meals Mondays and Tuesdays after 5pm if I remember correctly and they are looking for more Yelp reviews as they are offering free dessert if you give them a review. Despite the last two things mentioned, this is not a restaurant I will return to.
