I have visited this clinic twice in a month and I just wanted to pay some appreciation to the nurse who checks everyone in. She does a fantastic job and looks like she is run off her feet everyday, often dealing with entitled and pushy patients. I’m sure most people who visit the clinic feel the same, Thanks for your work.
I came in because I was nearly done my antibiotics for an undiagnosed UTI w/o any exam and was still in pain so wanted to find out what was wrong…my urinalysis didn’t show bacteria but he prescribed me more antibiotics anyways which I didn’t pick up because no proof I need them…I’m calling for my results for sti and they don’t answer their phone. Just overall didn’t feel that I was helped at all. The pain I’m in is likely from yeast as a result of the antibiotics but he didn’t mention anything towards the possibility of that and if I would have taken his second prescription I believe it would do way more damage as it was prescribed without any consideration.
Went and saw Dr. Messarick today, He was very really nice and listened to my issue. what an amazing doctor. Wish him the best in life. Gavin Singh.
The lady working reception today January 6th 2023 definitely needs some love. Was surprised to encounter someone so unhappy and snitty right from the outset. I could tell by her poor attitude that she was there to make things as difficult as possible for anyone who dared disturb her. There wasn’t a sole in the reception area but she acted lso huffy and puffy you’d swear she was directing triage during a major disaster. The people of Squamish deserve better and whoever employs her needs to know that being greeted by a pitbull doesn’t help business.
The front desk staff Niki and Dr. Shellenberg are angels in my eyes. The people of Squamish are so stressed about medical care, the pressure on the clinics is intense but they maintain their compassion
Very nice staff, especially considering how busy it gets, it must be stressful. I moved here recently and am not used to waiting 2-3 hours to see a doctor, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, the doctor I had was great and was very professional.
Is there a reason the reception does not answer the phone? I've called several times and waited even for 10 minutes! Nothing, and it's quite important in regards to talking to a doctor!
The front desk administrator who work this morning 10:30 May 21 , 2022 should absolutely not be working in the medical field. We sat and listened to her talk to patients… her ton, the way she spoke and the use of language were horrible! she clearly hates her job, and shouldn’t be working with sick, unwell and sensitive people!!!! The owners who run this clinic should evaluate the staff!. People don’t want to go to a walk in clinic… it’s because our family Doctors are not available or we need care right away… being verbally absused and talk to in derogatory ways is completely unacceptable these days! I will be filing a complaint.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist, a lot of patients but doctor was super efficient and the queue moved quickly.
Decently kind/capable staff, but my god is this place ever inconsistent... Strange hours that are a nightmare for anyone working 9-5 hours, and it seems like as soon as the doctor's schedule is filled up, they send the receptionist home! Tried to call during regular clinic hours and no one picked up, likely because the doctor's schedule was already full. Frustrating when all I was hoping for was some test results that surely wouldn't take up the doctor's time.
