You will see some beautiful views and scenery if you come here, especially if you come at the right time and have good weather. The experience I had was great. The gondola interior is kept clean, the ride is smooth, there are a lot of nice stops to take pictures at and take in the view, and fun trails to hike through. Didn’t eat at this location, so I don’t know about the food. It would probably be a good idea to bring your own food and snacks when coming, as you can also sit and eat in the cafeteria there. All in all, I do approve of this location.
Received a lot of recommendation to visit this area. The ride up was a nice treat. Came on a cloudy day but the view was still breathtaking. The gondola staff were extremely friendly and polite. You can spend hours up at the summit. Since we did not have much time, We hikes the the spirit and panorama trails. What a treat this was. Would recommend coming earlier during the day to hike some longer trails. Thank you.
Amazing views, the cameras don't do any justice, highly highly recommend this if you're in BC. The drive itself is very scenic and enjoyable. The mountains, the forests, and the water, it's a magical combination. There are multiple trail at the top ranging from easy to hard that can be hiked for even better views. It can get quiet busy and there could be a wait for the gondola on the way back down depending on the day and season. Also buying your ticket online can save you a couple of bucks rather than buying it on-site.
Was longer line when arrived but pulled out phone and bought online tickets in less than 3 minutes and skipped the line and went right to gondolas. Excellent views while riding up and had view only eagles get to see while ascending the mountain. Fun area with trails and food/beer/wine and COFFEE at the summit. Very unique experience that is worth the price. Take good shoes and have fun!
This was a really cool experience because the elevation gain on this gondola is like nine I have been on. We were here on a weekday morning so it was not very busy. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal for visiting we still had a good time and got some good views. They have clean facilities and a nice gift shop. A small restaurant up at the top with some easy hiking trails.
Best thing we did in Vancouver hands down!! It costs $62/Adult - $52/Senior But it’s definitely worth it. Very nice staff Easy hikes for seniors on the top and intermediate hikes for good hikers on the top For experienced hikers hike up it would take you 45 minutes if you’re running and 3-4 hours if you’re going slow. Then take the Gondola down for $20/adult. It’s definitely worth it. Restaurant on the top is also worth trying
I had heard great things about this place. I love that you could see the views and it was a quick ride to the top. When you get to the top, you can do short trails or you can do longer trails. Views from the top were incredible! Highly recommended this place. Get there early, the parking lot fills fast.
Wow oh wow. This is a great experience and definitely worth going to if you are in Vancouver. The drive is amazing and the gondola ride to the top is amazing. I’m scared of heights but the ride was very nice and smooth. It wasn’t that busy went in early May, and we got our own gondola. The view at that top was breathtaking. The bridge was a bit scary for me but great. Restaurant and staff up top and bottom were all great. I recommend spending the money and taking the ride. If you have time, hike on one of the trails in the warmer months or ski in the winter months.
The gondola ride up is absolutely breathtaking. It becomes really silent and it feels like you are in a world of your own as you go up and down. Once up at the top, there is a suspension bridge and lots of great viewing platforms. All the trails are well labelled with lots of different options. For family Day weekend, tickets to the tube park were free and you could go down multiple times. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The views are stunning and the forest feels magical. I love returning here during each season and I think the annual pass is a great value.
The scenery is very perfect! You could climb high and look at it or ride the cable car to enjoy the feeling of stimulation. Blue sky and white clouds, snowy mountains, a panoramic view of emerald ocean. It is a good place for weekend vacation.
