Great old fashioned. Nachos weren't my favorite but husband liked them. Burger was good. Cesar salad with chicken breast was very good. Wraps looked great too. Staff was very friendly and it was nice to see the open kitchen and cooks working with pride. Brittany was excellent at the bar.
If you have not been to Scuba's you will need to make it your next stop! Atmosphere, service, food, everything is frick'n awesome , you will not be disappointed ! Parking might be a challenge in the lot but you can always park on side street, there's wheel chair access with no issues, the staff there is spot on, we were asked several times if we need anything, and if the food was good, and yes, very good! Give this place a try, and judge for yourself, pretty sure you will be adding this to one of your dinner plans
I only have one photo of my steak sandwich because it was shortly DESTROYED! The onion rings were good, the fries were good, but the steak sandwich was amazing! It came slathered in mushrooms and onions, Gouda cheese, and cooked perfectly to order. I loved the sauce for the steak, served on the side. It was slightly sweet, then sour and savory with a buildable heat that never became too much. There was so much flavor for this one sandwich!! I'm definitely coming here again.
This place is much more than a bar its food it's beyond what you would call bar food. I don't know who they have back their cooking but my compliments to the chefs.. and the drinks come out quick and they are great awesome customer service friendly clean It varies reasonable prices. this place is always packed from the last times I have been there Definitely a place I will go out of my way to come visit again keep up the good work #wings #fish #shrimp #tuna #beer #fun
Great place and atmosphere. I had the breakfast burger, other than being a little too salty for my taste it was great!Recommended dishes
Having driven by Scuba's more than I can count, my bride and I opted to have dinner on a day I craved pizza, burgers, and wings. Parking was plentiful provided by the street or parking lot. Inside, we found the ambiance to be pleasant and comfortable. Scuba's was obviously occupied by neighborhood locals that may have walked from their domicile as well as people such as myself, who drove about 5 miles or more. Either way, we found a comfortable table in front of one of the round, porthole windows. We were promptly provided with menus by a pleasant staff member and our drink order was taken. A cocktail and beer later and we were savoring our excellent meals. My bride opted for the Gourmet steak sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries while I delighted my tastebuds with the black and blue burger. Did I mention I had a craving for wings too? Well, we decided to order two dozen wings in two different flavors knowing we would take them home. We each tasted a wing but packed them up for home to be eaten the following day. FYI: Don't order a takeout in addition to your meal as you are charged extra. Instead, wait until the end of your meal and ask for a container. WHY? The wings tasted good but I found them to be small and consisted mostly of flat wingettes and very few of the meatier drumettes. The extra takeout cost and the small wings were my primary, or only, reason for reducing the rating to 4 stars. While I was famished when I arrived, I literally could not finish one last bite of my burger. I was stuffed! Yes, I had two beers and one or two small wings, but still I have never left any part of a burger behind, until now. It was all very good. Kudos to the staff who did an excellent job serving us. They were top notch and deserved the 20+% tip. A little extra to cover the cost of the takeout container. They did a great job of serving us!
We love going here because they have some of the best bar food. The sandwiches and burgers are almost gourmet. My wife and I love the wings because they are so meaty and even when they are smothered in sauce they always stay crispy. The waiter that we had I can't remember his name was very nice and helpful but anytime things got beyond the ordinary questions and orders he got very flustered and short tempered. We only get that kind of short attitude from that guy, everyone else is usually very good. We had a group of eight, plus it was very busy. If I could give the service a 3.75, I would. The down grade is only one employee. Will be back for sure.
Stopped on a Monday for lunch. The regulars took up the bar, as they sit every other stool, so we took a booth. Service from Ben is quick, not necessarily a bad thing but he always makes us feel rushed as he'srunning by. Food came out quickly and was very good. If you want anything other than chips with your meal it's an upcharge. 4% fee for using a card.
Exceptional service, excellent value, and a very fun atmosphere await you at Scubas Pourhouse. Their wings are the best I've had in town and out of town. The Holy S**t! sauce is very, very hot. If you're a fan of spicy food you will like it. Their appetizers are delicious, try their sidewinder fries! You wont be disappointed.
I ordered the signature Burger and I thought it was a little small. The food was all great tasting. Good service and a nice atmosphere. We'll definitely go there again and try something else.Food: 3/5
