It’s definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The shop is decorated by lovely artwork that painted by one of the staffs. Their service is excellent , refilled coffee served with warm cheers. Everything tasted so good and portion is large enough for a brunch. I highly recommend this place
Restaurant: Scrumptious Location: Richmond Hill Price-Per person: $8-14 2 meals, with 2 coffees + tip was 40$ Ambiance: 5/5 stars Decor: 4/5 stars Service: 5/5 stars Food freshness: 5/5 stars Went here for the first time today at scrumptious in Richmond Hill. Right away I felt like I had walked into grandma's kitchen. Warm, cozy and inviting. The decor was a bit odd, as there were some strange pictures I couldnt help but giggle. Our waiter never missed a beat, and was really friendly, always topped up on coffee - which was endless. We ordered the scrumptious double burger And the sausage scramble. The portions were pretty impressive and really fresh. The scrumptious burger was done to perfection, not over done and not under cooked either. The sauce was a Chipotle sauce covering the bacon and cheese , squeezed between 2 patties. The home fries I would have wanted crispier, but they were very tasty none the less. For the sausage scramble, we had a side of fries Instead of home fries. These fries honestly make it to my top 3 choices of French fries now. They were a whole new level of crispy and crunchy. Not to oily, and still every bite was full of crunch! The fish itself was a well mix of sausage and egg, topped with cheese and onions. Very well sized portion as well. Overall great experience since we've driven by and was recommended to go with friends. Will be back! Kid-friendliness: They offer high chairs and kids menu items Parking: The parking lot is actually bigger then though. They have enough parking to accommodate all guests Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheel chair parking and assisted door.
Great Western style breakfast at the Scrumptious Diner. The food items arrived within ten 10 minutes of our order. The food was freshly prepared and tasted great. The Benedict with salmon was $15 which I think is good value.Food: 5/5
Home fries seasoning was very good. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable. Just like an old fashioned diner but very close to city. Highly recommend. Parking: Lots of parking spaces.
Cute little family restaurant offering breakfast and lunch options. Simple but hearty and reasonably priced as well. I liked the French toast along with the fresh fruit but the poutine was a bit too salty with some burnt fries unfortunately.Food: 3/5
This restaurant has been around for 5+ years, it’s operated by a Chinese couple and they are very kind and polite. The 5 stars rating is for their breakfasts, it’s very good value and pretty tasty.
A hole-in-the-wall with one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. I also ordered the waffle which was fresh, fluffy and delicious with fresh fruit. Diner coffee isn’t always great but theirs is good. The machine is obviously being taken care of and cleaned properly. I would say if you expect rapid and constant service don’t expect it here because I don’t think they have the staff for it. That said - with only two people working everything was done at a reasonable pace with about half the restaurant tables filled. I give it five stars because the food was really just perfect, and the woman taking orders and cooking/cleaning was lovely. Give this place a chance - and with a little patience if it’s busy, I believe you’ll find a new favourite spot!
Decent place for a quick breakfast. Has a lot of options for omelettes, sandwiches and wraps. Not vegan friendly though. Tables were too close to each other, and was a little suffocating.
Family run place? Looks like Mom and Pop and Son at least. Place was packed, so slow service was expected but it wasn't as if the staff were constantly moving about. I didn't see much of them at all. Sitting there waiting to give order or getting water for 20 min seems unusual when you only see 1 server make 1 trip that whole time. Maybe server also was cooking. Diner setup so only one aisle of tables. So it's not like the place is huge. Food was great. Haven't had Eggs Benedict in a while and the hollandaise sauce was just the right consistency. Others at the table didn't have issues. Eggs were properly made to order. Pricing was OK. THEIR WEBSITE HAS OLD PRICING WHEN THIS WAS WRITTEN.
We had an awesome brunch, big thanks to Raymond the scrumptious man.. we definitely coming back soon.Food: 4/5
