We came for breakfast and it was quick and easy to order. They have classic breakfasts and we all enjoyed what we got. A couple things that were great: yummy giant scone with honey butter, great service. A couple things that were weird: our food was served on disposable plates would've loved to see reusable dishware to avoid waste, the tables are really short which probably is awesome if you've got little people ie your kids with you, but it was weirdly short for us adults Overall, nice experience with good food!
While visiting our family this weekend, we popped out for a meal and just happened upon Scrambled! - so glad we did! We enjoyed our Sunday brunch. The portions were large and we felt the prices were reasonable. We shared with our family our newly found gem in Layton. I'm sure they will be over there soon for themselves. Recommend. We had the BLT and the Claudia.
I liked what I got, my husband didn't. Everything had a lot of flavor. I'd like to go back. Clean, polite staff, a bit of a wait for our order, but it was busy. Nice size portions. Not to expensive.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Good, fast, fresh breakfast! Super cute atmosphere. Lots of options, basically everything was house made down to the chocolate milk. The Cajun potatoes were really good. They also have a drive through which is really nice to just grab something on the go. Great local spot.
Great spot in Layton. Huge portions for the price. Delicious scones and the cinnamon rolls are sooooo good! We only made it through half the food we ordered! Staff is super friendly and very attentive. Breakfast burrito was great, Oscar’s Wicked Hash a must try.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
What a great little breakfast spot in Layton that’s locally owned! The price point is comparable with other National franchises, but whenever I can, I support local. Their coffee is from Daily Rise, a local coffee shop and distributor as well. My favorite items from this spot is actually the Chili Verde I added extra pork - so worth it - we fed 2 people and the Nutella Delight. We took that home and tore it up! In any case, I feel like they do the best job with their scones. Their hash could be a little crispier. But my husband liked his seasoned potatoes and my son loved how cheesy the grilled cheese was. Be aware that they have super limited seating and a long wait line with the drive through. Both not a bad thing for me - just proves they’re a hit. Just be prepared though, not a place you should attempt if in a rush. Enjoy!
Stopped in on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too busy! The staff is really nice and answered all our questions about the menu. The food was pretty good but the scones are something to right home about! So good! The coffee from Daily Rose is delicious! Prices are pretty decent! We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu items! This go around we tried the biscuit and gravy, all the meats and the Cajun potatoes… all were pretty good! The ham though was by far the best out of the meat selection!
I was craving a good breakfast after a long night at work. And this place had the best breakfast sandwich and burritos I could have asked for. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a good option for a drink a bit pricey but I don't mind paying for the amazing service and food. Made fresh to order if you go through the drive thru please be patient. It's worth it. I adore you all that work there thank you for giving me a go to breakfast spot.
The food was excellent. Ordered a double double and Cajun potatoes. The food size was huge. Eggs and bacon cooked to perfection. The only downside is the chairs and table very small. I felt like I was seated at a kiddie table.Food: 5/5
It smells really good. The food looks and tastes great. My gripes are not with the food at all, but rather with the experience of getting in and seating. The parking lot is too small for the amount of business that is being done. Although I’m sure this was not the case when it first opened, I would recommend relocating to accommodate the influx of customers. The drive thru creates additional traffic since it blocks in people who are parked. So if you’re going to go, be mindful of limited parking and limited seating. Let’s talk about the seating….it’s children's height. The tables are incredibly short. It’s not a comfortable eating experience. I’m still not sure how to feel about everything being disposable. And I mean everything. The plates are paper, the utensils and cups are plastic. Im not sure if this is due to Covid accommodations or a lack of staff to do the dishes, but it’s a bit odd. Not good, but not bad. It just feels like I ran into my moms house to take a plate home. I don’t know if that’s the vibe they are going for, but it’s certainly different. Overall, the staff is friendly and the food is really good. I think I would just order take out since that’s the feeling I get from dining in anyway. Oh and ask for salt if you get the Cajun potatoes. Photos Below: Breakfast sandwich on white toast with Cajun potatoes. Western Omelette with hashbrowns and sourdough toast.
