Really was excited to try this place because of the nice portions and the overall high ratings but it was way too spicy to eat and it ruined the whole experience. I ordered the jerk chicken and jerk shrimp sandwich. Overall, the only redeemable food was the jerk fries and beef patty, which cost the least and had no extraneous spice added. Be careful ordering here if you cannot tolerate an extremely high level of spice. I cannot in good faith recommend this despite the good prices and portion sizes.
Amazing Caribbean cuisine. You will get to have one of the best jerk Chicken bowls and jerk chicken wings in the city. I have been ordering from this restaurant since 2020 and undoubtedly the taste is unmatched. The portions are massive and it's really pocket friendly. Recently I visited this place and had a take away. The interiors and ambiance are wonderful, but what I realized is that the take away and online orders are pretty high. The location is superb and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Simple delicious menu for those who want a quick bite cooked to perfection. You're free to choose all of the available ingredients cilantro, tomato, corn, cheese, jalapeno, coleslaw in the bowls and sandwiches. I always get the 2 sandwich deal, which are massive and nearly the cost of a bowl. Can't go wrong. Halal.
The food is absolutely delicious! Perfect level of spice and heat, and most importantly, filled with Caribbean flavour! I got the Jerk Chicken Bowl and it was really good. Food is also affordable.Food: 5/5
Good customer service. Nice portions. Had the jerk chicken bowl and jerk fries. Chicken had a good taste and overall base and sauces were really complimenting each other. Also, the jerk spice of fries was tempting. Will try more stuff in the future.
I didn't expect a quick service carribean restaurant to have some of the best Jerk in the city but that's exactly what Scotty Bons has! Delicious food, excellent value/portions, and fresh ingredients. They offer a range of classic Jamaican dishes served in an over the counter quick service style similar to a burrito joint. Customizable rice bowls, rotis, and cocobread sandwiches with a lot of traditional and untraditional fixins to chose from - everything was delicious! I went with the jerk chicken rice bowl, jerk chicken sandwich, and Cajun fish sandwich. Chicken was juicy, fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned with a strong jerk flavor and good amount of spice. Cajun fish had a light crispy batter with tender flakey white fish inside. Considering I ordered via Uber eats I was surprised how well the battered fish held up. Love the fact that there's many ways to customize your order aside from just rice/peas/coleslaw. Worth a try for any Jerk fan/ anyone interested in trying a unique take on carribean food. Definitely going to be ordering a lot more from here!
My first time and definitely not my last. That seasoning I can’t get enough of. Something about pressing the sandwich makes it different and I’m HERE for it. The fries didn’t have enough seasoning. Still super excited to try the rest of the menu
I got the oxtail plate and it was incredible. The pineapple corn salsa was so delicious. Portions are huge so it’s good to share for 2 people. I also tried the jerk chicken sandwich which was so good as well. Definitely a good place to try
SUPER DELICIOUS. ORDER IT FROM UBER EATS LAST NIGHT. I wanted to try something different, and THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. The flavour, aroma, and how tender and easy to chew the meat were all excellent. The fries were wonderful, with just the proper amount of sauce for the best POUTINE I've ever had. Best restaurant this month in my opinion
I went here with my friends and then went back by myself a week later because it was so good. I had the oxtail the first round, and fought all my temptation the second round not to get it so I could try the jerk chicken. They are both so so so so delicious. The portions are outrageously awesome. And the ladies who were working there both times were so so nice! Last time I went in april, the tables and chairs were back.
