Very helpful staff who constantly do their best to get your needs met. In the years I've been going there I've never had an issue

I spent 20 minutes this morning punching numbers into my phone to try to reach a human being at the branch who can answer a simple question about depositing a business check. I've never before encountered a business with such a convoluted and unfriendly and unhelpful customer service. Yes, I know that phone calls take time to answer, and time is money, but really? They have designed their phone answering to discourage calls from customers, because good customer service is expensive to provide. But they are not exactly broke there at Scotiabank.
