I tried to call them before I come over, but can't never found a real person to talk with. When I came, even though I was the only customer in the bank, they told me I have to come back because these who can open account are busy. How about the manager? She can work too, can't she? Definitely not the best customer service I've ever seen
I am a resident in Tsawwassen who came to deposit a bank draft into a third party business account who has an account with Scotiabank in Burnaby. A young male teller was trying to help with all the information I had which they needed. He called the manager and she was trying to assist with the deposit. She looked at me and my daughter very strange like and we felt very uncomfortable. I felt that we were not being recognized as a customer due to our colour of skin. She told us she couldn't deposit the draft even though I have done a similar business transaction at a different bank which I told her as well. After this, I went to the Bridgeport Scotiabank location and the transaction was done right away. Now I understand why this bank has low ratings.
I was treated so poorly at this bank. I had just come from the gym - wearing old sweat pants, a sweater, and a hat. Everyone that worked there except the nice receptionist kept giving me dirty looks, staring at me, and looking me up and down like I was going to rob the place or something. I felt so uncomfortable with the looks and judgement and have never been treated like that at a bank before. One of the managers Tanya was super condescending, rude, and passive aggressive towards me and kept acting like she couldn’t understand me because of the barriers for COVID. Just because someone isn’t dressed up nicely that day doesn’t mean you can be rude and give them stares up and down. People can tell when you’re being passive aggressive and fake nice, just so you know. Super disappointed with how I was treated and will be avoiding this branch at all costs.
Provided absolutely no help. Went in to the branch 3 days in a row, and I am still stuck in the same place. They said they couldn't help me and referred me to the fraud department/home branch when they referred to the nearest branch to me. They don't care about their customers at all. If they did, they would have solved my problem within one day. I will be going to another Scotiabank location to solve my issue.
Requested wire transfer within Canada before the cutt--off time with expectation that it will be transferred the same or latest next day. Next day, money hasn't been transfered. Called bank to find out that they put transfer on hold as they wanted to talk to me to clarify something. However, nobody called me ... who knows how long the transfer would be on hold if I wouldn't call!?
I’m never satisfied when I come here. I would not recommend if you value your time, or your money.
This branch used to be great, with good service and friendly staff. However, when I recently dealt with them, the staff that had been good are apparently not there anymore. Scotiabank doesn't care about its regular customers
We have been banking at this branch for more than ten years. The service is extraordinary. The staff really care about our banking requirements.
The tellers are super friendly and helpful with my questions. Kay has been very proactive about helping us with longer term goals.
Fraudulent business zero stars I will NEVER on my grave be returning to this branch or any at location.
