Lady at the help desk today was anything but helpful nnI walk in looking for my dad, and im in line to ask her what room he is in, and she starts insisting some guy im apparently waiting for is almost done, pointing at someone I dojt know. I keep telling her im not waiting for anyone, then she said what are you here for then, I told her, and she sighs and goes well thats going to take a while. I said dont worry about it then, she said ok go sit down and wait. It wasnt even busy, she just lacks customer service skills. I was considering switching to Scotia, not anymore. Lol

My experience with this bank is disappointing. The staff I dealt with was Unprofessional and indifferent. Exercise no care. My mortgage rate of 4.38% is a mere -0.07 off prime. Where other Branches was able to offer -0.7 off prime. The AMgr insisted it was the system that she was bound to follow. Assuring me it was the best I could have. Simply being ripped off.

Very bad experience i didn't see the name of the sale rep. Went there with my draft to cancel it. She straight way said cant happen now as system is down. That can be said politely. When i was there i requested if she can update my address - her respond YOU CAN DO THAT ONLINE.nnIf your client is visiting a home branch should be treated right way when i am travelling all the way from Grimsby.nnAnyways - I will be switching my bank soon as am banking with them from last 6 years.nnI would request the management to look into it.

Made an appointment for a Tuesday to renew our mortgage for 4pm, left work early. We get there, they ask if we have an appointment, we say yes with Deslin. They say oh he’s off sick today, but no one called to let us know our appointment was cancelled. They reschedule us for 3 days later-a Friday, for Deslin to tell us oh he wasn’t sick he just got back from India. Deslin was supposed to call us the following date which was a Saturday, after our second booked appointment with rates, etc. we received no call and had to finally reach out to the bank on Tuesday to make an appointment with someone else, a full week later with zero communication. Find a different Scotia bank, they seem very disorganized at this specific location. Some of the tellers are great but most have an attitude and make it seem like it’s a chore to serve you.nnWe ended up switching banks for our mortgage due to the better rates at RBC. The kicker is after everything was paid to Scotia- the remainder balance of our mortgage we owed them , they took another mortgage payment out of our account, now we are fighting to get the 2800 back they owe us.

Very bad experience. The second time i lost my money from Scotiabank. They explained that the count machine is 99% correct and that get stuck during the time counting money and can not return my money back to count again.last tine i have to wait on the end of day and they said that no extra money from machine and they sure they count correctly . However when i get cash deposit from other bank like CIBC that never happened. Recommend not using Scotia bank.
