I have been trying to get in touch with the branch manager at the Springbank Rd location for more than an hour and can't. They have gone to the robot system and the wait time is just under an hour, That is ridiculous. Any business that resorts to using robo answering is creating more problems for their customers and that is BAD FOR BUSINESS!!!! What ever happened to good old fashioned real customer service. Wake up to that BNS or you will have more unhappy customers that you can deal with. BAD FOR BUSINESS!!!!!
It's a very friendly bank and convenient too fer anyone living in the Berkshire area. It's a walking distance bank and I have an account here for over 40 years.
Refused to cash my Canada savings bonds, which are legal tender. Teller had no idea what she was doing. After looking at these other reviews, my service experience makes much more sense.
Brian Hatherell the Manager is absolutely outstanding. The Bank lost a $500,000 deposit of ours and washed their hands of it. We had no ability to do anything as we have no access or knowledge of the Banks internals /computers. Although it was a Scotia Itrade error Brian Hatherell spent endless hours and 6 weeks to solve this issue.nThank you for your great work.
This is a review of the ATM machines at this location as this is not my branch. I happened to be working close to this area for a few weeks. I would always come in after the bank closes. Usually between 8-10 pm. I appreciate that one of the ATM's let's you choose between $5, $10, $20, $50 & $100 bills.....BUT.....more often than not the machine would not let you make any withdrawals. The message was simply withdrawals unavailable. Not just to me but anyone.nnBoth machines suffered from this situation. The machines in this branch are even worse than other branches I've been to when it comes to their touch screens. Almost unresponsive except to an extremely heavy touch.nnOther than that the lobby is clean.......
