We are a single line Honda motorcycle and power equipment dealership with over 44 years experience in the industry.

Story

On April 1st 1968, Scona Cycle & Sport Ltd. opened its doors in a small location just off White Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta and began selling Honda's, CZ's, Bultaco's, MotoGuzzi's and Arctic Cat snowmobiles.Within a few years they dropped all makes and models except Honda and have specialized in this product line ever since. Scona Cycle takes pride in the fact that they are one of the few remaining single line dealerships in Alberta. This allows the dealership to concentrate efforts on a brand they believe in--- Honda---and they have a more thourough knowledge of their product.

Excellent family-owned Honda motorcycle store. They have a nice selection of bikes and gear too.
I needed a new lawnmower and Scona happened to have just the right one in stock. Steve and Adrian took great care of me and got me cutting again!
The store is very clean, and the staff know their information. I also got a great deal on my motorcycle jacket here.
I have to say that I really appreciated Steve Spence and all the time he put into helping me pick the right ATV. As this is my first off road purchase it took me a lot of shopping to find the right machine. Steve was ever patient and always helpful. I visited many dealers in my search and I found Scona cycle were the ones most interested in giving that outstanding customer service one might expect. I would highly recommend Steve and this dealer to anyone who wants an honest and down to earth experience.
Seems like they have very friendly staff. The sales team doesn't seem very pushy like other dealers are, parts Dept is on point. They're quick to pull blow ups, and seem to have a decent stock inventory. Can't say I'm all too impressed with Honda's 2018 lineup so far, but it's still early.
Wow, what can I say about the service at this business? Staff in the service department are friendly and knowledgeable, that's where it stops. A repair that should be a one day fix and it takes two weeks to complete is ridiculous. They didn't have the parts in stock, understandable. I can order from Honda and get them in two days, it takes them a week. Once they had the parts, the bike sits for another week before they say it will be ready. What a lack of organisation at this shop. Would I ever take anything back to them for service, definitely no. Will I ever recommend anyone to use the service department, no never. The reason I went to them is they sounded like they knew what they were doing and could get it done quickly. Other Honda dealer service departments could get me in sooner but had never done a clutch replacement on a Goldwing before. So I waited, and now regret this decision. I have always appreciated the mom and pop feeling of dealing with Scona Cycle. They have lost my business for good.
I bought my first bike here cbr500r and left feeling great about it and that hasn't changed. I now ride a cbr600rr and trust the guys here to get the job done right with all my maintenance and oil changes. I've also had nothing but positive experiences dealing with the apparel staff and the many questions I had.
We've been life-long customers of Scona Cycle, and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of a small dealership. Even though I never bought my Honda motorcycles from Scona, it's always a pleasure to speak with their sales people about their newest bikes. I've never felt pressured to buy anything there, and their service department is top notch.
Phenomenally excellent service, best service I have ever had. Called another place to get an estimate for a Honda generator repair. They said to try back in three weeks. Called Scona Cycle Honda and they got me to bring it in that morning to look at it. They were able to replace the starter and get our food truck generator back in service before dinnertime. And for less than they initially quoted too. Despite being a very busy shop with lots of other customers, they took care of me too. Can't thank them enough. If you need service for a Honda generator, this is the place. I will definitely be back. Thanks for your help. Tangent's Treats
