Picked up a Too Good To Go Bag from here. It was good value at $6 with a selection of different pizza flavours. The pizza was ok but not the best I've had. Good to get if you're hungry and want something to fill your stomach. Update: I had the opportunity to try out their pizza again. I ordered a personal size steak & cheese pizza and it was very good and the service was fantastic. It's best to eat the pizza right away straight out of the oven with it's piping hot. I'm not sure what cheese was used on the pizza but it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.
The pizza is amazing!! Is the best, the flavour is so delicious! And the service is outstanding. I highly recommend them and I am going back. The place is great to enjoy a nice pizza with friends. The street where it's is quiet so you can enjoy a good chat with friends.
I ordered a large The Works over the phone to be picked up and they were super-friendly. Great customer service! We also loved the pizza! The ingredients were fresh, the cheese was real and the crust was oven-baked, which tasted delicious! You could taste every single topping on the pizza...which means what?....it was fresh and carefully put together. I usually don't have more than 2 slices max, but this was so tasty that I had 3. Another thing I loved about this place was the price. It's very reasonable considering what you're getting. While in Vancouver, I've tried other pizza places that you pay more but the quality was not even close. I also like the fact that these guys have a variety of creative selections check out their menu Yeah!...we'll definitely order from this great place again!
I was in town for a day and saw the excellent reviews so I had to try. Great pizzas! It was clean, service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Definitely recommend!
We ordered pizza here for lunch recently, and it was an excellent choice. I haven't had really good pizza for a while, so it was a nice change to hear about Captain's Oven Pizza. It is just located in downtown of Vancouver on West Pender St. We ordered a large of the Captain's Favourite and a large of the Margherita pizza. Very much indeed pleased by this take out place. The pizza is like a flat bread style which I love, I'm not into thick bready styled pizza, and very flavourful. I would definitely recommend this pizza restaurant to others. Thank you Captain's Oven Pizza.
Amazing service from the staff and delicious made to order pizza! it is counter service but was treated like a sit down restaurant. they took great care of us making sure we had everything like water and sauces and checking in on us. their thin crispy crust pizza was cooked perfectly with lots of toppings but didnt weigh it down. you must try their in house garlic sauce for your crust. it is amazing! we got a large Captain's Favourite. Will definitely come back when we visit Vancouver.
Great service. The staffs were very friendly. Delicious pizza. I ordered Fiesty Indian large pizza which tasted awesome and exceeded my expectations. Chocolate dream dessert was really yummy but I didn't like Tiramisu there, the cake slices were like it was been there for a while and it was very soggy. It could have been more fresh. Apart from that I loved this place.
Legit margarita pizza. Extremely fresh ingredients: crispy thin crust, oven hot and quality cheese. Chili oil and flakes elevated our pizza experience. ***Outstanding service—fast, welcoming and effective, even when resto was full and many takeout orders. Highly recommend.
Crunchy, fresh dough and an extensive variety of toppings. Loved it, would definitely come back! We had one small pizza each. Would have been ok with 3 slices as well.
Suleyman and his warm and wonderful team at Captain’s Oven Pender truly make the best Neapolitan vegan pizza in town! I highly recommend the marinara pizza with mushrooms, vegan pepperoni, and truffle oil drizzle! +
