Great place! Small and intimate and I got the feeling the staff knew half the people there by name. They have a counter for single folks to sit at. I missed breakfast but based on the lunch I got, I plan to go back. I got their specialty club and it was tremendous. I opted for no chips but got the specialty made in house pickle, that is redish in color and spicy hot. All of it was total yum!
The minute we walked through the door we were cheerfully greeted like we were regular customers, most customers turned to look at us when we walked in. I half expected them to call out "Norm" We were impressed with choices on the menu, crepes, kielbasa, even crepes. Their fresh brewed sweet tea was perfect, not overly sweet, the way I remember in the South. We highly recommend the hashbrowns done to perfection, browned on each side with a little crunch, complete with green & red chopped peppers, finely diced onion. The teamwork shown amongst the staff made our breakfast very enjoyable. A real family oriented restaurant, where you meet up great homestyle food at a great price. Do yourself a favor as you're driving down Rt. 394 in Asheville, NY heading towards Stow, stop in and grab some mighty fine food. Maybe I will see you there. Thanks to Sandy Ahlgren for the tip.
What an amazing little diner. The service was unbelievable and extremely quick, the waitress filled my coffee several times and was so polite and welcoming. I got the sausage gravy scramble and it was phenomenal. If you are in the area you have to try this place, you will not be disappointed. I can honestly say this was one of the best places I've ever been to get breakfast.
Family owned and the best food in town... they served me the most delicious salad & fruit plate and were very kind and considerate when I mentioned my special diet needs. I could feel the love, thank you!
Always friendly and satisfying. Taking great Covid-19 precautions July 2020 with their takeout orders and "dining under the tent". Chicken cookouts are back, too. Check their limited hours to avoid being disappointed.

Best waitresses and excellent food! Had the special bacon cheeseburger with Mac n cheese, it was huge and delicious!! One of my favorite places!!
We are vacationing in Chautauqua and drove by and i told my husband to pull in because it looked exactly like the mom and pop places we like to go to. Did not disappoint. You can tell They care about the ingredients and quality of food they are making. Staff was amazing!! Please support this place if your visiting Chautauqua Lake!

EDIT: I truly appreciate the response from the business. That shows you how everyone should handle a business. Even when some situations are out of their control. That earns them a 5 Star. Original post: I come to the area yearly, and it was my 1st time here. Hands down the staff was super nice!, breakfast served fast. Pancakes were huge - tasted good. My eggs/toast/bacon, all were a little too greasy for my liking. I always enjoy local places such as this. However, we are unlikely to return and dine in. Unfortunately, that's because of the other customers we encounter. A few rude ppl while waiting outside I dont even want to get in to the details. The other, because its tight inside. We sat at the counter -which I normally enjoy. A he customer next to me kept coughing, and not covering his mouth ugh. Even pre covid, I would have been bothered by this. I would probably order to go -if I was in the mood for some breakfast.
