Fast, efficient service. Great breads. A little weak on quality of soups. Beautiful eating area and ambiance.

As a whole, we're huge fans of Schlotzsky's. This location, however, is a bit of an odd duck... Let me note first, that I believe this restaurant is operated by an older retired couple, and has been for several years now. They are the kindest, most friendly people you'll come across, and will bend over backwards to accommodate you and make sure you feel welcome and taken care of. That said, you can tell that they are short staffed, and it's not uncommon for this location to be closed at the most random times. We tried to stop by here today around 5pm (on an average Wed.). They were closed (I honestly wasn't terribly surprised). It was actually a bit hard to tell if they were closed permanently, but I don't believe they are. In any case, I'd strongly encourage people to visit this place to support the very kind owners, but you have to do so with the knowledge that you won't have a typical Schlotzsky's experience that you may have at a more established location. Go here to support a great older local couple trying to make a few bucks post-retirement... don't go here because you're desperate for a good sandwich that's prepared quickly in a location that's open during predictable business hours. UPDATE: Stopped by the day I wrote the original review and again, the store was closed before 5:30pm on a weekday. From my recent experience, I honestly couldn't tell you if this location is even open anymore...

Now owned by Butterburr. Trendy style sandwiches. Nice and friendly.
