Saxony Motel

Don't stay here! RUN!!! I booked a room for 2 nights. The computer chair had gross stains all over the seat. The first night I was coughing non stop and the second night my partner the same. We weren't sick but something is either with the AC which was only turned for the heat because it could get chilly. On the morning of our day to leave around 5am-7am non stop noise by 2 females who were going in and out of their room. I didn't bother to open the door to look because I was so tired and tought they would stop. When I went to give back the key the lady in the desk she was really nice asked me how was my stay and I was honest. Out of nowhere this older, skinny scruffy man overheard my complain about the noise and says "was it the indigenous guy?" I looked at him and said No. I said " I heard female voices." He then says "it's a free country!" I was astounded by his attitude and to pull a race card on me. For this reason I will never book here again. On top of it all when he was talking his mucus slime was running down from his nose to his mouth as me and the lady in the front tried to keep a straight face. ugh yikes.

Stayed in a room on the ground floor. it had been renovated. Had fridge, microwave and desk and a small round table. And an armoire with a few drawers and a large TV. Few spiders in the room probably because of the gap in the bottom of the door. The water pressure in the shower was low. The man at the front desk was very friendly and brought us 2 extra pillows. Breakfast included but missed it as we got up too late. Ice available in the lobby and they sell cold drinks for a reasonable price. Would stay there again because of the price. There is a tim hortons across the street.

I've been there many times on business trips, I'm very satisfied with everything except sometimes it can be load there. People partying at time with no consideration for others, but that happens all over. Great prices though. Rooms: 5/5

Friendly staff. Large clean room, good Wi-Fi, lots of hot water. Didn't get the chance to see the included breakfast. Bed was a bit lumpy and there were not enough plugs to recharge devices or laptop.Rooms: 4/5

We played a show in windsor last night and accidentally booked a hotel there for a different date. It was 1am at that point and absolutely nowhere in the city could accommodate us so we started driving back to hamilton a 4 hour drive. Called at least 20 hotels and they were all booked. Saxony was the last we called and they were extremely accommodating! Arrived to the motel at 3am, checked in and hit the bed as soon as we walked in. We had 4 people so had to use the pull out, they promptly brought sheets and blankets over! Beds were both comfortable and the room was a great temperature!

The room was adequate and comfortable and quiet. I did ask for a lower room but had to take an upper and go up a set of stairs which my knees did not appreciate which is why I only rated it three stars Food & drinks: A high-end restaurant was next door and food was out of this world

Don't wear black. You'll get accosted and asked for ID in order to have your name on file incase u commit a crime. Very nice the manager said sorry so thats good. But could have been done better. There is a polite way and then there is the wrong way.Service: 1/5

Was Okay. Stayed in the Jacuzzi room. Wish the floor got even just a sweep. Had to wear shoes while walking around in room. Bed was comfy. I didn't expect it to be spotless for the price but just an easy clean would of made my review higher. We did use the Jacuzzi but had to clean the jets and tub before using. Once that was done, was great!! Cleanliness goes along way and just a few easy pick ups could of made this place very decent. Outside well, don't be scared by that. Was nice to be able to sit outside our room.

The Saxony was a great stay, have rented a room a few times and each time was good. Room was nice and clean, except the floor could of used a wash but other then that we had a good stay. The staff was nice to us and even one time gave us a weekend discount and charged us normal price instead of the weekend price . Thank you Saxony

I was skeptical at first due to the low price, but wow, Saxony did NOT disappoint. The rooms were very clean and furnished well, the complementary breakfast is all fresh, and the staff are beyond kind. Definitely skip out on the typical chain hotels and give this place a stay!Rooms: 5/5
