Sawridge Inn & Conference Centre Peace River

On our way up, we drove from Edmonton to high level, stayed at the same chain, and it went up to Fort Smith. On our way back, we decided to visit Peace River. I have to say that this day in the same chain was a much better experience. The hotel was in better shape in general, and the breakfast was up a few notches. They also had a big games room, but was closed when we were there. Stuff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.nnIf you are making a stop somewhere near high level or Peace River, I would recommend this spot over high level.

It was a really good stay. We were travelling from northwest and had to spend night on the way at this place. It was a last minute booking. But it was really worth it. The hotel is big and nice plus the rooms are clean and nice service. They also provide you free breakfast at Ricky’s in the morning which is the best especially when you’re travelling and don’t want to spend a lot on food. Overall the price of the room was also decent looking at the free breakfast you get there.

WHAT A DUMP!!! Need major renovations. I had to switch room twice. Second room had ants crawling all over the room. I was so uncomfortable. I didn’t wanted to complain again and the fridge wasn’t working either!!! I was reading other reviews and they have nicer rooms and shower and I got a shitty room!

Staff very helpful. Rooms are variable - I had a nice king size bed in the annex, coworker said his queen size bed was in a tight space. The breakfast that was included I ordered the Bavarian sausage as an add on for $6 was very good and great value.

Decent stay for Peace River. Hotel is clean and staff is very welcoming. Only drawback is that you might have to walk outside in bitter cold in order to get into your room as the building are not attached. Apart from that everything is good for the hotel stay.
