Hidden gem in Sherwood Park. Best Thai food! So flavorful and fresh, we loved all our dishes. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is prompt and friendly. We will definitely be returning again.Food: 5/5
It was our first time in Sawadee thai restaurant and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot in Sherwood Park with amazing food. The Mango in sticky rice and deep fried banana with ice cream are to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again.
Wow, the food here is incredible! Pad Thai is without compare. Curries are so flavourful. Addictive coconut rice. Service is delightful, too. Seriously pleased!Food: 5/5
The staff were very kind, polite, and helpful. We had the veg spring rolls, tom kha gai soup, pad kee mao, and pad thai. The food was good and we especially liked the noodles - they were flavourful and delicious! There were around 6-7 tables at the restaurant, so I would suggest you reserve a table in advance if you know your schedule. They have a lot of skip the dishes orders, so it seems quite popular for that as well. The portion sizes were not too large - so that's a good way to try other dishes too. The prices are also comparative to other Thai restaurants in Edmonton and surrounding cities.
The gentleman owner was very nice. This is what I have experienced with the Thai people in Thailand. Meal was very tasty . Recommend this place.
Called them up and asked for enough to feed ten of us. Looking for a variety of dishes. No issue with my request at all. Threw a few ideas at me. All sounded good. 30 minutes later I came and grabbed it. Probably more food than we needed but I prefer it that way. Everything was delicious. Very good service. Lots of flavor in the dishes. Kid loved the leaf wrapped chicken and pad thai. It is definitely an elevated experience compared to all the Thai Expressed we had in food courts lol.
My cousin and I shared a mango salad, Gai Yang, Gaeng Daeng and coconut rice. Everything were delicious. The mango salad stood out the most, it is definitely a must-try. The owner was super friendly. So happy to have found this neighborhood gem.Food: 5/5
When i found out this place was the same owners as chix shack i know i had to make the trek to sherwood park. Im so glad i did! The staff are so friendly and definitely know their thai food! We asked for everything thailand spicy and it definitely makes you sweat! All the food was fantastic. I asked for a couple modifications such as the rad na to be fried like they do in yarowat and the chef was more then happy to accommodate. What a gem hidden away! Can't wait to make the trek back!
Sadly I didn't have a good feedback. It is an overvalued restaurant, while many other food business are offering discounts on take out, this Tai restaurant doesn't and the portions are too small for the price they charge. I wasn't comfortable tipping for no table service, I walked away with light food containers after paying $58.56 dollars. I definitely will not go back again, I don't recommend it. I feel it was a rip off.
