My wife and I have been to quite a few Save-on-foods and this one is typical of them. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the store for all. The store is well lit and clean. It’s a grocery store so no much explaining here. Our experience was good and the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful.
I've never posted a review for a grocery store before, but I needed to this time for one specific woman that works there. I wish I could remember her name, but I'll never forget how well she treated me.nnI was extremely overwhelmed the day that I went in, I have never been in a Save on Foods before, and I am autistic, so this was a very bad day for me. I talked to a lady that was working at self checkout, and explained my situation. She personally took me around the store and helped me get everything on my list fast and efficiently. She was so kind and I will always appreciate her. Please never stop doing what you do.nThank you.
I love this Save-On-Foods. It's clean the fruit and vegetables don't look they have all been touched like 2 other stores. The prices may be higher, but it's worth it and looks safer.
Loved this Save-on! Well stocked and well priced. Fast and friendly service. Will definitely go back here.
Worst experience ever after going to this store since it opened in the ‘90s. Was trying to buy mortadella from deli but it was turning green. I asked the employee, who proudly gave me her name ANICA how old the meat was. Her answer “mmmm I don’t know” I asked her why it’s green. Her answer “mmmmm it’s green yes, but it’s fine”. I asked if I could get some from a fresh unopened package since it was about 1/2 way through. Her answer “mmmmm no, this is all there is”. I asked if she could check the cooler maybe? Her answer “no.” I restated my concern over the colour of the meat and this is when she decided to roll her eyes, give me attitude and throw it back in the display for the next customer. I expressed that she’s going to get someone ill and should be ashamed if she knowingly leaves the meat in there without investigating further. She gave me a big smile, said thank you and literally waved me along!! Then she went and laughingly shared our conversation with a colleague near the back but loud enough for me to hear to mocking me.
