Oct 1/24nnWent there first time, for breakfast. Very good setup, especially the coffee and the pastry sections. I liked the cinnamon bun. The price was good too. It is one of the best Italian Centres around the Edmonton area.
Well, I come for one of my favorite sandwiches, the focaccia ripinea. I get it at least once a month, if not more. But now shrinkflation hit the Italian center too. The focaccia is noticeably smaller and harder it looks like a depression era sandwich now. Most likely, I will not make the 25 min drive to enjoy this sandwich anymore. The first pic is the new sandwich. The second is the old one.
I love the Italian bakery, we’ve been customers since 1980’s we are 4 generation customers. They have such a variety of products including local products. The deli and bakery is always the best part of shopping. The classic sandwich has remained consistent for years. The restaurant and cafe are always bustling!! The patio in the summer is great to enjoy your meal anytime of the day. The customer service is always great.
One of my favorite places to shop for groceries. The bakery and deli are delightful. The fresh food they prepare is always good. And don't forget to try their deli sandwiches. I like the hot one. $10 is a great deal for such a tasty sandwich.
What's not to love about the Italian Centre Shop? They have so many fresh and amazing things to choose from. It absolutely caters to everything Italian and is a wonderful place to shop for a special dish, having company, or wanting to try your hand at making something new! Their Bakery is obviously one of the most popular counters and it's not hard to figure out why!. All of the delicious donuts, snacks, and sugary sweets made in-house are so yummy. The cafe/restaurant offers so many excellent dishes to eat on-site or take to-go. The pizza is especially excellent. On of our household favorites is also the fresh lasagna and garlic bread in their pre-made section. Take it home and pop them in the oven for an excellent, fresh, homemade tasting meal! Staff is always friendly and eager to answer any questions you might have. The store is bright, spacious, well organized, and clean. There is plenty of parking in the lot in front of the store, including handicapped spaces. The store has large aisles for easy wheelchair & walkers too. Stop in to check them out or take some fresh pastries to your office one morning and be the favorite employee!
