Amazing. So far above other hospitals in the area, you feel like you're in the Twilight Zone. Staff is very professional and caring. Emergency Department is an amazing facility. Patient food is better than "hospital food"- they actually use seasonings! And the cafeteria is excellent. The night shift ER PA, Hope, is incredible. Took the time to explain everything in detail without dumbing it down. She could be a great teacher.
I can't say enough about the wonderful care for a dislocated shoulder I received in the ER on 3/1/23. From the young woman at the registration desk to the Triage nurses, the X-ray technicians, the ER nurses and Dan Janssen PA, I was treated with respect, compassion and the utmost skill and professionalism. Each person was attentive to my needs and answered every question I had. If anyone needs emergency care this is the place to go!
I had to go to the hospital twice on Saturday. The ER nurses were wonderful. Special thanks to Sarah in the morning and Theresa in the afternoon. After getting a room, Camille, night shift, and Ruby, next morning, were on top if it! I was impressed with the entire staff at Saratoga, and very grateful for their compassion and skill. In my opinion, this hospital and staff have it all.
Was admitted right away. Sat for hours without seeing anyone. Was told doctor was going to be called. No doctor was called. When asked if we could leave no one would provide a medical record of what was done because we were leaving against medical advice yet very little medical attention was given for the 7hrs we were there. Left and went to Glens Falls Hospital, treatment much better. Saratoga staff was rude, not helpful and misleading in many ways. Do not recommend. Spend the extra 20 minutes on the highway and go to Glens Falls.
Was transported by ambulance to the ER yesterday. Paramedics were incredible and the service continued once I reached the hospital. I would really like to thank Mark and Sarah in the ER for providing me such exceptional treatment during my stay. BY FAR the best experience I have ever had at a hospital. Kind, caring, Knowledgeable and respectful. I can’t say enough good things about them. Thanks again! Dominick.
Saratoga hospital has stated they are completely okay with a nurse practitioner to contact a patient's UNAUTHORIZED family member to disclose personal health information. They've seen all the evidence and said in writing that this is okay. Avoid if at all possible. You are not safe here, they don't care about your health or safety.
Missinformed, confused staff at every turn, there is zero communication in this hospital. The fact I could hear the nurse call me an addict to his coworker outside of my room is completely unprofessional. I had just undergone a major surgery for the second time in a month and was severe pain. I was left alone for hours with zero assistance or information multiple times.
Would not recommend this hospital for anything mental health related. Front desk has a horrible attitude problem. Came looking for my fiance and her child who was being seen. They couldn't locate mom. Told me she was in the cafeteria having lunch which wasn't true. She was on the back seeing crisis intervention. How do you not know where the mother of a child is that's being seen there? I had to rely on your stayu to help me cause she couldn't have a phone. Zero help. If I could give zero stars I would. Also asking for a supervisor is making a scene
My sister was at the emergency room for 4 hour and they only did blood work. My sister asked the front lady what's taking so long and the woman got in her face so my sister left The Administration should look at the video of what they did to her. Saratoga hospital I would not recommend to anyone
