SAQ Sélection

This is a very special SAQ. Good selection friendly staff, all of what you would expect from a good SAQ BUT, as a bonus, you get Jean-Phillipe. The guy is so passionate about wine and friendly, he makes that SAQ special among so many others. Trust me, go there and ask for him. You will never forget your experience and will adopt that place like I did. Highly recommended!

Today around 6:00p-6:30pm in the beginning the staff was helpful as I was looking for a specific wine. An older gentleman with glasses stepped in to help us but as I asked my mother to translate for me in French if they had the red wine, roscato . my nother did and explained because I found it in the united states. The man that was helping us then became very rude with me and replied "not here! We are not in america! This is canada! that only sold for america!" very rudely. He responded this way only after finding out I was American trying to ask kindly if they did or did not carry the Roscato. A simple kind no as his response would have been sufficient but he took it to another level of being unprofessional and discriminating me just because I came from america. I recommend the large selection they have but not the horrible customer unprofessional service this man gave me. I do hope the next time I visit the customer service is better quality and equal to all no matter where your from or who you are. Very upset over this.

Quick and fast service. Get in and get out within 10 minutes or less. I usually buy vodka or rum here whenever I am in a hurry.
