San Marcos Restaurant

Amazing place for Mexican food, the atmosphere is so friendly and colourful. The food we had - even for lunch , all just the way it should be with flawless meat and enough of vegetables. These nachos with guacamole and red sauce- something I could eat whole day.Recommended dishesTortillas, Chips and Salsa, Enchilada

Margarita was tasty, but a little small. The shrimp tacos were good, but 5.00 each. The side of fries was as expected. It was busy, but service was fast and accurate. Easy to get to, with ample parking. Overall it was a good first visit, and I'll be back for sure!

This place is amazing. I highly recommend coming here. The wall art is beautiful and the food is more then amazing. I come for lunch and the margaritas are super good. The guacamole is super fresh. The service is superb. I can't wait to come in the summer to sit outside on the patio. I like that they have a Latino grocery store attached to it with fresh produce and home made bakery iteams. it has alot to choose from with a meat deli in the back and it has great prices.

Located in the back of a grocery store which threw me off when I walked in. I loved the lady singing songs during dinner that was super fun atmosphere! She takes requests! My friends and I enjoyed our dinner!Food: 4/5

Was looking for good Mexican food in the area and saw this place recommended highly. I can see why it there was so much hype. The food was absolutely delicious, truly authentic and priced reasonably well. And check out the portion sizes! I posted a pick of their Carnitas plate for $14 and it was enough to feed 2 easily! The salsa also beats out nearly every other Mexican joint I've eaten at, and I've eaten at plenty.

Got takeout once and dined in the second time. Both experiences were good. The food is great and being a vegetarian I didn't feel that I don't have enough choices. Ended up ordering the same dish on both occasions. If I'm in town again shall definitely visit this great Mexican joint Vegetarian options: Vegetarians won't starve here unlike other restaurants that can offer just a salad to vegetarians:

Great food....even though 3 out of 5 of our orders were wrong Fast forward to 6/27/22 I just spent $45 for 15 steak tacos. The first batch I ordered was initially requested to be made fresh. The steak tacos were cold and as if they been sitting for a few hours. We took them back and requested that they be remade fresh. We waited outside for about 15min and returned to get the new batch. Once we got home we made a plate for my youngest son who is also Awesomely Autistic. After immediately taking a bite of his taco he asked were they bacon tacos so I instantly checked the tacos and found they were cooked to a burnt crisp!!!! We then took the remaining tacos back and request to make them fresh or refund the $45 ....of course we were told NO and in a very disrespectful way. The tacos were left and no money was refunded not even an apology. Do not eat the bottom of the barrel "steak meat" from San Marcos because it will either be fatty, left sitting out or burnt to a crisp. At least that has been our last 4 experiences there. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Delicious food. Have ordered just about everything on the menu and never had a bad plate come out of that kitchen. In fact on my most recent visit I went back and tipped the kitchen on their excellent, consistent service! If your looking for authentic Mexican food in the area this is the spot. I've traveled throughout the United States and I believe this is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. They also have a really cool Latino based grocery store to check out on your way out after you eat!
