San Francisco Italian Bakery Gp Ltd

Popped into this place on a whim. Ordered the eggplant parmesan sandwich and the gnocchi. The sandwich was fantastic. I'd pass on the pasta. Nothing beats Nonna's pasta. I also ordered a cannoli and my friend got assorted desserts. The canollis were also good. Definitely pop in and give this place a shot. It's a tiny little place but don't let the size stop you. They also make pizza, which looked good to.

I always thought this place was decent. The product is good, but that's where it all ends... I would normally go to Tradition Taste in Georgetown which is a thousand times better, even when others are good! Unfortunately TT isn't open on Saturday and I needed things for dinner so I went to San Francisco. First thing when I walked in, I could smell something that smelled like cigarette smoke. I shrugged it off as it is attached to a plumbing store and who knows what else. I walked over and picked up a bag of cheese buns from the day olds basket and ordered some tarts. The girl went to ring in the buns and another girl came over and said that they weren't the $1.69 that they were tagged at until tomorrow (???). Confused, I asked what she meant. She said that she bagged them for tomorrow for day olds already because they were closing soon. I pointed out to her that it was 3:45pm and was completely ignored. The bakery closes at 6pm... So closing soon to this girl means more than 2 hours!? I wasn't in the mood to put up a fight so I paid the extra $1.50 on my debit. The first girl was pleasant enough, but the second was completely awful. She asked if I wanted my debit receipt and I simply said no thank you. She turned to the other girl and said straight up right in front of me "just give her her bag so she will leave". I let it roll off my back until I was heading for the door and hear her say "Wow, what's her problem?". At that point I turned and simply said "I guarantee you will lose customers with you behind the counter and Traditional Taste is not only a better bakery, but would be happy to take the customers". When I got outside, an older gentleman came up to me and told me that he over heard everything and that the exact thing had happened to him not 5 minutes before while trying to buy a bag of cheese buns from the day olds basket. This bakery is moving to a new location just inside Georgetown right on Guelph St at Delrex and you would think that they would want to keep customers...
