Nice & traditional. Gotta start with the bread/bun when it comes to Italian sandwiches, this fella don’t disappoint. Ordered the classic veal & added the provolone, mushrooms, onions surprised you have to pay extra for it. Lost a star cuz of it... The veal was thin and properly breaded. The tomato sauce was nice and the provolone was mild and perfectly melted. The guy knows his Italian sandwiches. When you want authentic Italian sandwiches, you go to Woodbridge. This guy can make em’ here!

Delicious! I had the veal and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. So good and worth the wait!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SAN FRANCISCO SANDWICHES. I only hate how far out this place is in Barrie. They need to open one on the south end of town. I would eat there more often if it was closer. The service, and staff are great. Always very friendly and helpful. AND the steak sandwiches are amazing! I have read some of these reviews, and I have never had a problem. My family of 6 gets pulled pork, veal and the steak sandwiches and they are always meaty and taste amazing. Don't listen to the negative reviews, give this place a try. My only downside to this place is the location, wish it was closer.

The food is fantastic... usually. However, I am unimpressed with the service I received today. The girls behind the counter didn't even look at me for a good 5 minutes before saying 3 times "we'll be with you shortly" without making eye contact... I placed my order... And then I repeated my order to the other girl... And finally, after I get home to eat with my family... I have to go out and buy mozzarella cheese because instead of spreading it over the whole sandwich like a normal person.. it's in a clump in the middle. I don't think I would be so angry if the customer service wasn't so terrible. After that experience, I would recommend the Italian bakery.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Barrie and surrounding area. The owner a real classy guy always good when you need a laugh. The food amazing!!! The veal sandwhich is amazing rip baby cow. And the toppings are always good for some extra flavor. You will not go hungry with these portions either. Highly recommend if your interested in a real Italian sandwhich!!!!

Great place to eat good food and share with friends. Really good food and also good music the best burgers I've ever eaten.

"Pride" when I worked decide to have pride on what they do you can tell the difference. The food is fantastic depending who is the kitchen. I been here serve times. I do admit the price could be a bit on the expensive side but the food has the quality of the price. The employers seem sanitary and proud of what they do. Over all it a good place to eat if are wealthy enough. For someone who eats cheap and is basic on food may not be for you. Give it at least chance to try it.

Ordered a veal sandwich with onions and tomato sauce. Sandwich was very large in size , maybe to match the high price they charge. Also they charge extra for onions and peppers. The sandwich was very bland tasting. I would not recommend them if your looking for an authentic Italian Sandwich.

I generally have a decent experience here, I’d say 50/50. This used to be our spot regardless of the poor service because the panzos used to be on point every time. In the last 3 months they’ve changed how they make them and raised their prices. They now charge for pepperoni, unknowingly I ordered the pepperonis, now our panzos come to 30$ instead of 23$ as pepperoni is now a 2$ charge. I called to place an order for pick up because it takes us about 20 Min to get here. We arrived after the 30 Min she said it would be and upon payment 40minutes in she notified us that she still had to make the second panzo. That means, we now have waited an hour for our food AND paid more than expected. They’re not worth 30$ And they’re especially not worth an hour wait. I call ahead because I don’t like waiting in line lol, that’s kind of the point. Again, pretty good food I’ll give them that.
