Sam's Pizza

Evidently the inside dining area had been closed for some time because they weren't prepared for 10 of us to come in on a Saturday afternoon. It took forever to order drinks because the waitress didn't know what alcohol they had on hand and when they came, they were small, under poured, and flat. Our lunches were decent with my baked salmon being cooked well but lacking of any true taste. My wife ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and she to mentioned it needed atleast salt to spice it up. The other couples that ate pizza seemed happy with their selection but those who had dinners were left wanting more.

Coming here for pizza is never a terrible decision, service can be either kind or rude. Flip of the coin depending on the time, and which day of the week you decide to order from here. Prices are decent for what they have to offer if you dont know what to get just order their carry out special. Pizza salad and 2 liter. Cant go wrong.Food: 4/5

Their pizza tastes as good as it always has. Been a while since I could enjoy a pizza from here since I moved to Madison. Their prices went up but they aren't cutting corners or skimping, so still worth the priceFood: 5/5

Just had pizza and hot wings delivered. Good service on the phone, by the cooks and the delivery driver. The food was delicious too. Thank you! Late last week, a former employee talked to me about the owners. I had to spend my money on yal. Fyi, if you want that fifth star, start making ranch from scratch. Those jugs of hidden valley suck

Newly relocated to Rockford. Heard a lot about Sam's Pizza. Wasn't impressed. Most likely will not return for pizza. Went into Sam's, placed order for 12" with extra ingredients. Arrived home & found the order was incorrect. Too tired to take it back.Food: 2/5

I went to the takeout area to pick up my pizza. The cashier had a 5 minute conversation with a customer after I walked in. She went to the back, came back, and had another 5 minute conversation while I waited to purchase my pizza. After getting home, the pizza tasted like crackers with a glob of cheese and a teaspoon of sauce. Not what I expected from a place advertising they are the best pizza in Rockford.

My pizza came 1 and half hour after ordered with a wire scrub pad melted in the cheese. 3/24/23 10:22pm food finally dropped off cold on the porch without notice at 2:34 am 3/25/23. Very disappointed scared to eat the replacement honestly. And then was hung up on and disrespected for trying to get help with refund or replacement. That man should be fired immediately. Kid-friendliness: Who ever answered the phone got mad at me and hung up 3 times instead of trying to help me out

When we arrived we had an awesome waitress. Staff decided to change our beginning waitress then proceeded to inform us that everything we wanted to order they did not have. When order finally came out everything was cold, flavourless and I could wring out my pizza. The following day 8 out of the 9 of us had either been sick the night before or felt queezy the whole day. Would not recommend.

The jalapeño poppers or mozzarella Sticks are $8.50 each. Prices are very discouraging.The pizza didn't have enough sauce either there was no flavor to the pizzaand they put all the cheese over the vegetables here which is just a mess because it's burned and it falls off after its finished being made all while the pizza is super oily and stuck to the pizza box.

Food is outstanding with generous portions for the price. Good local food with great parking. I have never dined in. Delivery always takes an hour. Id recommend just picking up as it is faster. Ive wanted to deliver for these folks for a while. So next time im in a pickle n need fast cash i kno to go to sams on charles cuz theyre always busy and could use drivers!
