First experience at Salute Italian restaurant in Bend. Worth mentioning, the Chef really knows how to prepare dishes to the delight of your taste buds. The Fillet Mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. High quality meat full of flavor and smooth/soft to the tongue. Asparagus was perfectly cooked and had a pleasant smoked flavor. The Chicken Alfredo had the perfect balance of cream and noodle texture. The chicken was tender and rich in flavor. The prawn salad was delicious. One note to the owners... we were delighted to see what appeared to be perfectly cooked scallops for our appetizer. Perfectly cooked indeed the scallops were. But the flavor was overly fishy, perhaps the result of a lower grade of scallop? We suggest using the highest grade/quality of scallops to match the preparation skills of your chef. All in all, a great Italian experience. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent place with a very attentive staff, great food and drinks. Definitely a date place with a terrific atmosphere and a great ambiance. You will want to make reservations on the weekend to get a table or the wait could be long but they do have a small bar area you can wait in or dine at as well. Excellent selection from Italian cuisines, everything seems to be made fresh. Overall, great experience if your looking for great food and service in Bend. This little restaurant is top notch! We showed up for an early dinner and they were able to slip us in without a reservation fortunately. From the get go, the server was very nice and helpful. The Caesar salad was SO delicious and set the bar pretty high immediately. The chicken parm was perfectly done, my wife's ravioli were fantastic as well. Don't sleep on their desserts either!
Excellent restaurant in the Bend area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Arugula and pear salad was fresh and tasty. Extensive wine list with knowledgeable staff. Menu is available online or on the their website.
The food was good liked the Brie platter and the spaghetti carbonara and the lamb osso bucco. The meatball appetizer was just so-so, and the complimentary bread was mid. We snuck in without a reso on a Tuesday, so we had the table by the door/bar, not the best for ambiance but cozy. Honestly, the worst part about it was our server, who seemed to also be the bartender, Twila. She was not very professional, forgot that we hadn’t ordered entrees asked to take our menus from us after we got the apps, I was like oh we were gonna order more!, didn’t ask us if we wanted more drinks, etc. not the worst service but kind of the bare minimum. We left full tho and enjoyed our meal, but I probably won’t return of my own volition.
Wonderful experience!!! Dinner and dessert were amazing. Nothing bad to say. Some of the best Italian food I've had in a while at a restaurant. This is now my top Italian restaurant in Bend for overall taste, drinks, service, elbow room, intimate dining, and experience. It was a pleasure to choose Salute as my Husbands' and my Anniversary dinner restaurant Thank you, for a wonderful memory of such a special day for us.

Excellent food, quality and proportion. Very good service. Small wine list, good bar selection. Deserts were wonderful. Small place, best to make reservation. Ambience is simple and plain, but it fits for this Italian eatery. Came here for anniversary dinner with the husband and everything was phenomenal! Our server Lilly delivered great service and was very knowledgeable. We started out with the scallops for an appetizer and wow- buttery and succulent. For dinner I had the house made four cheese ravioli with bolognese sauce while my husband had the lamb osso buco which was fall off the bone tender. To finish off we shared a dessert of apple pie cannoli which was amazing. For drinks enjoyed a bottle of red do not remember the name but the selection was great so couldn’t go wrong. My husband had an old fashion that he said was one of the best he has had. Would definitely come back and will be recommending this place for sure!
