Salty Dawg Saloon

If you're looking for a drink after a long day on a boat then seek comfort in the Salty Dawg Saloon. The Salty Dawg Saloon is well known for the dollar bills and underwear on the wall with messages written with permanent marker. These messages or poetry are also found in the restrooms. A pool table and a jukebox are the only forms of entertainment here beyond the employees and the regular patrons. There are picnic tables with more messages written or cut into the table. Chances are if you visit here you'll not only have a great time enjoying your new favorite drink, but you'll also leave a message or two behind.

Super, blast from past (lived here in the 70s), no beer on tap tho. Ambience gets ten stars. Walking out onto cold blasting wind on the spit after a warm hour sipping beer is an appropriate reality check. Great way to sober up fast.

This place is one of a kind. Dollar bills all over the walls and ceilings, it is in an old light house, and people write all over every surface in the place. It lets every patron leave their mark. You feel like a salty dawg just walking in there. It can be quiet sometimes, but in general it is full, but there is also an area outside to sit at picnic tables.

Place was fun very very crowded too much writing on the wall I couldn't read it all LOL
