Salon 2000

Went here because it is open on Sunday. Really was looking forward to pedi & wasnt impressed overall. Water temperature in footbath was cold, and staff seemed to be all over the map distracted. The whole procedure itself was sub par to every other nail salon I have ever been to, & we all 3 left feeling like the experience was not worth the cost. Thats a first for me. Also the fellow doing my nails was grinning at me like a titan and it made me totally uncomfortable. Please stop grinning like a maniac & making eye contact!!!!

I have been going to Van to have my nails done with Bio Gel for several years now and just LOVE her work. I am a nail technician myself and extremely fussy about the workmanship. She does the job exactly as I would expect and is always accommodating if I have any special requests or need a quick fix. Her husband Billy is so supportive and helpful, not to mention a great hair stylist. They are a great team. It frustrates me to see that anyone would have anything to say about this place but great things. The problem with social media is that it exposes great businesses like this to negative reviews quite likely from their competition! Just sayin!! How would you really know? Just go there and you will see for yourself. Great place.

Do not get your eyebrows waxed here. I usually get mine threaded here, but I got them waxed today because the threader was not there. The woman who did my eyebrows did not listen to what I had asked for, reshaped my brows when I specifically said not too, and literally forgot to wax under one of them. She was so kind and fun, but honestly messed my eyebrows up so bad that I left crying. The woman who threads there is amazing - I would highly recommend her. Do not get waxing done here!

I literally drive from Toronto atleast twice a month to get my nails done here after coming down with a girlfriend one time who goes to Laurier. I typically get biogel and shellac, however they've just introduced me to this new dip powder process which I've been loving just as much. Any concerns I've ever had with my nails they've always been more than happy to fix free of charge. Van and the girls there are all lovely.

I absolutely love them!! They are warming .... lovely, beautiful people and place!!!.love my nail and pedicure ... the salon is very clean and feels relaxing. I enjoy coming here as often as I can .highly recommended

Customer service is excellent! Bio-gel nails are better than everywhere else I’ve been too. Salon is always clean, workers are friendly, and prices are fair. I recommend.

My experience was fantastic. There was a wait at my usual salon, so I decided to give this place a try as I’m new to Brantford. The lady that was there and her son I think were so personable and fun to chat with. The TV was enjoyable entertainment and the atmosphere was spacious and inviting. I will be back. 5/5 for me personally

Very unclean. Not impressed with the staff. The staff who did mine and my friends nails were very inexperienced and spent most of the time watching TV and were visibly unsure of what they were doing. There were a lot of flaws with the nail polish that was put on and they ruined my friends nails while taking off her acrylics. Do not recommend.

I went there to get my nails redone, I had bio gel with the ombré look and I wanted it switched to white tip. The lady who did my nails layered the gel as high as Mount Everest. The white tip she did was all crooked, the square I had, I’ve no idea what shape it was when she was done. I came home and cried, took them off because it was absolutely hideous looking. Now I’ll be going to my usual place to get it done the proper way. If I could give them -5 stars, I would. Will NEVER, EVER go here again!
