The Family of Reyko Nishiyama would like to thank Nicolas, Max, Rita and Quincy for their compassionate care of our mother. They offered professional and empathetic attention to all of our concerns.  We were treated with the utmost kindness and respect.  We appreciate the personal attention we received from Nicolas and his patience in answering our questions.  There was no pressure to purchase extra services but all our options were well explained. Salmon and Sons provide excellent service for a fair price.  We were impressed they recommend local businesses for related services that they don't handle. The assistance provided by Nicolas and his staff was first rate as well as sincere and heartfelt.  These are qualities we welcome from those guiding us in a time of bereavement. We can't thank Nicholas and his team at Salmon and Sons enough for all they did for our family at the time of our Mothers passing. Every detail of her Celebration of Life was carefully and lovingly carried out as planned, allowing us to grieve properly.
We are taking this opportunity to recognize and thank Nicolas and Max Salmon. Over the past three years we have had occasion to engage their services for three different funerals. In each instance they went over and above our expectations to help our family through difficult times. Repeatedly they were innovative to help with special requests, were willing to accommodate regardless of the circumstance, and above above all, rendered these services with a high degree of professionalism and empathy. In addition, we felt that we received excellent service for dollars spent.
Salmon & Sons provided a very worry free experience during a stressful time. Everything was explained thoroughly to help us make the best decisions, we never felt that we were pressured into making hurried decisions or buy something we didn't need. Nick was very easy to deal with and was able to accommodate our requests with no hesitations as well as provide advice from his experiences.
Even though it was an extremely difficult time for our family, our experience at Salmon and Sons Funeral Home was extraordinary. I am so thankful that we chose Salmon and Sons to assist our family in planning the cremation and funeral for my sister, Donna Voth. Her funeral was in Calgary, and Nicolas Salmon provided services that went above and beyond to meet our every need. We were overwhelmed by Nicolas’s generosity and for making such a heartbreaking experience more bearable by all that he did. During a very difficult time for our family, Nicolas was absolutely wonderful, professional, compassionate, courteous, kind, caring, and first class. The courtesy, respect and professionalism showed were outstanding. I highly recommend Salmon and Sons Funeral Home.
Salmon and Sons did an amazing job for us. During a tough time, they don't push you into something you don't need. They don't try to take advantage of you in your time of need. The Salmon and Son's property has gone over some major renovations to be the beautiful and welcoming building it is today. I've had the pleasure to meet many members of the Salmon family and they all share the same compassion, patience, and big heart feeling.
