Salle Jean-Desprez-Maison Du

We saw Catherine Major at this venue. Great show! The venue itself is not so large that intimacy is lost. The acoustics are great and I found the seats comfortable. The staff are also nice and very helpful. This is my second time to this venue. I would definitely go back.

I have never attended performances there, but visited many times for conferences and meetings. The Salle is inside Maison de Citoyen in Gatineau, so I feel secure while cycling and stopping there for pit stop, toilet break, taking dihydrogen monoxide H2O, etc.

It's a big place, for big occasions, enough space for everything

I regularly see classical music concerts from "l'ensemble prisme" in the Salle Jean-Despréz and let me tell you, the small sized room doesn't affect the quality of the music. It actually makes it possible for us spectators to interact with the musicians. Only thing is the washroom gets a nice line up during the entract.
