Excellent service from the Gatineau Passport team from the security guard at the entrance to the lady at the check-in desk checking all the required docs are in order, to the service official. I needed the passport in 2 weeks and they couldn't guarantee but said I might get in two weeks, received it in a week and a half. Better service than the Meadowlands location. OK, thats all the good part. Not so good part, its not free parking. It cost me $15 for parking. I read other reviews that it was free parking but its not. There's a parking attendant who will make sure you pay, politely.

All of my interactions here have been pleasant. My husband applied at the end of January and still no passport. Calling last week, he was informed that they needed more information about water damage and had called him and left a voicemail. They didn’t.nnHe has now been told today at a different office that his damaged passport that was sent to be destroyed was not scanned. Leading to all this stress before we’re supposed to leave for our honeymoon. So beware the employees at this office while nice are not doing their due diligence.

I thought it was going to be an absolute nightmare to get my passport. I had my paperwork filled out, picture, I.D, birth certificate with me. As soon as I sat down to wait, my number was instantly called. I had the help of Pierre who was an absolute gem to deal with. Thanks for your help, Pierre! He is the guy with an epic beard. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Promote this man.

Passport Canada has the most ignorant and rude call center agents. I have had calls with several of them, all of them talked to me as I am a slave and they are the boss! I hope Passport Canada follows IRCC and introduce after the call survey to rate the agents.

Arrive a hour early. When the place opened the line had over 30 people up to the street. Anyway super fast once you're in. I was in and out in 10 minutes when the place opened because I was there a hour before. Just bring snacks and earbuds you'll be good.nnEdit: If you want a quick passport book a early flight, and you will be able to pick it up the day before your 'flight'.
