I have been coming to this clinic since 2017. While I always had issues with the fact that us patients would call for an appointment with our doctor and the receptionist would tell us that since the availability for the said doctor is not out yet, we would have to call back again to be able to get our appointment rather than them calling us back once its available. I have however gone back this year and my experience with the receptionist called Fatiha has been terrible. In April, after an appointment with my doctor, I had forgotten to ask the doctor for something and as I was talking to this receptionist and asked her to send my question to my doctor, she blatantly told me « if I was with the doctor earlier today, why didn’t I ask them face to face », I annoyingly responded that I forgot and moved on. Now in August, I was supposed to have an appointment next week and that same receptionist called me to tell me that my appointment this week is cancelled. She repeated it 3 times. I told her that I did not have an appointment this week but the following and she then corrected herself and agreed. I also mentioned that I had asked to get the rest of my results from blood work in April since I had only gotten the partial results due to the rest not being available yet. She told me that she can’t give me my results unless she has an authorization from the doctor. I explained to her that the authorization was already there since my doctor had already given the agreement in April, and that I was just waiting for the rest. She couldn’t here it. While I was trying to explain my case, she could let me finish my thoughts and put me on hold whenI wasn’t even done sharing all the information that I had. Furthermore, when discussing with her she blatantly interrupts me to get her points across and asks questions and won’t even let me finish answering and she’s talking over you. Basically, this is not the first time that conversations With her are just her talking over people and not listening when I would think that would be a critical part of her job as a receptionist. She seriously lacks professionalism and patients should not be subject to this kind of behaviour. She is obnoxious and it’s becoming really dreadful to call this clinic and have to deal with this kind of behaviour. I hope the people in charge will take the necessary actions to prevent this from continuously happening.
Always long long long waiting time in the clinic’s waiting room. It doesn't matter even if you go before the appointment time.. our appointment was 10:00 a.m. but the doctor called us 10:50.. there were only one patient in waiting room when we arrived.. and they called a patient who came after us..
I’ve been going to LMC clinic now for about 6 years. I think they are fantastic my doctor is usually very punctual, receptionist have been great polite and friendly. I have to admit I don’t call the clinic very often so I’m not sure about all the negative comments about the phone. By email I always get a quick reply to all my questions and requests.
The tests were super fast no problems at all and the Doctor is really nice.
My experience with LMC was superb. I was called to confirm my appointment the day before. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our appointment and were taken almost immediately. The secretary was polite and efficient. I was seen by a medical technician who took all my vitals and who was the nicest and kindest lady. A few minutes later I saw the doctor who was polite, informative and very nice. Good looking too. I was very nervous and not feeling well but the treatment I received was amazing. USELESS RECEPTIONIST!!!! all the reviews saying they never pick up the damn phone is right. I’ve called at least 20 times in the span of a whole day and not once did they pickup. at very different hours and times , hoping to find someone Awful awful awful
Impossible to reach them by phone! I called more than 10 times during different times in the past three days to schedule an appointment but no one ever answers. Very very frustrating.
Excellent clinic. But if you use a GPS the postal code on their business card is wrong. It should be H4T 1V9. Not H4T 1Z9
Better of somewhere else... You know... Where they actually pick up the phone. Or listen to the messages you leave on the answering machine. Waste of time and space.
Useless phone number and receptionists. They never answer or call you back after your message.
