Saint-Antoine Poutine Rapee

Learned that Acadian poutine rapee is very different from the poutine most people know, and is more like a Japanese mochi ball but made from shredded potato with pork in the middle. Very unique and still yummy. Try it with brown sugar on top and butter. The pet de soeur translated as a nun's fart is a sweet cinnamon roll like dessert but without cinnamon. So glad we tried all of these, but I still prefer the traditionally known poutine. Pleasant staff and location with a simple menu, means they concentrate on doing a few things well.

Very good poutine acadienne. If you haven’t tried one, it’s unique! The molasses cookies are to die for!!! Restaurant is modest and has some seating, but great for takeout. Very friendly counter service.

Stopped here to try some Acadian food tried the platter, it came with a poutine, a half serving of râpée, a half serving of chicken fricot and a desert we got the pets de souer. Everything was delicious! Glad we got a chance to try this. Would definitely recommend the chicken fricot and pets de souer was especially delightful! Good amount of food for only $22 and was able to try some of everything.

You have to eat always the fricot is delicious like a home's soup. Then pets de soeur is like a cinnamon roll. The poutine is nice

Very delicious poutines not cheese fries and gravy. Hits the spot every time. Just off the hwy 11 so it's very convenient to get to. The restaurant itself is nothing special, but the food is. I didn't try anything else but the poutine so I can't vouch for another dish. Very popular spot.
