So glad to have more recognition for the Vietnamese Ottawans who ended up here as a result of the civil war of many decades in Việt Nam. It is so important for the next generation of Vietnamese people, such as myself, to have a monument of our predecessors’ heritage, enough information to intrigue and encourage us that there is more for us and from us in this city.
