Great food and so well displayed! Drink menu was fun! Overall service was on point and food looked and tasted very very good!
Arrived at 2:35, was told they were serving dinner not lunch anymore which is twice as expensive. It says right on their wall that they serve lunch till 3. Food was not fresh in any way. Also the sauces were very thin and runny. It is one of the only Chinese places in Monroe. But knowing what I know now I would make the drive to everett to have better Chinese food. The egg drop soup which is one of my favorite soups, was very bland and tasted nothing like egg drop soup. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know.
Not sure why this place is rated so low, I thought it was amazing. I went after a long hike and got the Saigon special noodle soup. It had chicken, pork and shrimp along with assorted vegetables Broccoli, carrots, cabbage, celery and noodles. It had delicious flavor and the price for quantity was reasonable. I also got the fresh spring rolls with peanut sause. So so so delicious! I would say some of the best I have had. All together the food quantity was enough for two meals for me. It was great the day of but even better as left overs! I ordered as take out by ordering at the restaurant and it was under 30 minutes even with five other tables to cook for. The atmosphere seemed nice, if I had more time I would have stayed and dined in! Definitely recommend if your looking for classic comfort chinese food for reasonable price!
We went to dinner with a group of 5 adults. The service was slow/ bad and the food was ok. When we were almost to the car the waitress/ owner came running after us saying we didn't leave a tip. My daughter asked to see the bill and pointed out that the tip was left on the tip line. She explained that by the way we weren't required to leave a tip. I thought it was extremely rude. I probably won't be back.
The Pho soup was extremely salty and also sweet. The bean sprouts they serve with the soup were rotten. Very bad because of the threat of listeria in bean sprouts is so important. The meat in the Pho soup was not served raw on the side like most so the meat was overcooked. I'm not going to order here, but the customer service was great! Very friendly! Just need to work on their flavors.
Food was good, not many people dining in more take outs, service was ok but then again we were practically the only ones there. Dinner time. We will go back. The price is good but smaller amounts then I expected.Food: 4/5
Excellent place. Service is top notch. Food is terrific. All in a very welcoming environment. Plan to visit frequently. The curry chicken is my current fave.Food: 5/5
RUDE!! Can't wait for this place to shut down so we can get a better option for Chinese in Monroe. Not sure what's happened here over the last 6 months but we used to order here once or twice each month or so for takeout with the family, especially during the summer. It was nothing particularly spectacular to begin with, just decent food we and our kids enjoyed for an acceptable price. It became a weekend go to favorite for movie nights and was just a quick trip to downtown. NEVER AGAIN. Called to place an order for pickup. Nothing new, same combo dinners and dinner specials we usually order, no special requests or particular accommodations were requested. As soon as the she answered the phone she told me it would be at least a 45 min wait for pickup. okay, no problem. So she took my order 4 dishes in total, name/number, and said "45 minutes see you then". I managed to catch here before she hung up to request a total, and suddenly I heard the phone drop, amidst a cacophony of voices and banging sounds. I figured she must be busy and handed the phone off for someone else to give the total, and sure enough I start to make out what sounds like someone doing math on a calculator. That's fairly common so I wait a few minutes and someone else comes on the phone, in very broken barely intelligible English gives me a total of over $100!! I was a little surprised, since as I said we've made this order dozens of times over the years and although the price has gone up steadily as expected along with everything else It usually comes out to about $14-$18 per dish, or $60-$70 in all. So I asked if she would confirm the prices since I expected the price shown on the menu was out of date and just wanted to get current pricing. NOPE. Suddenly she went into tirade about "extra soup" and "30 cents"... honestly I had no idea what she was saying, her English wasn't great and neither is my hearing. Side note, I'm not here to shame anyone for their English proficiency but it's important to note since it played a role in this exchange, along with my poor hearing. I thought maybe I'd made a mistake ordering the wrong thing or something. So I tried to explain that I just wanted to confirm the price per dish because the total was quite higher than expected, and wanted to be sure we had the order right. She became increasingly irate, yelling about the "stock market" and "extra soup" she said this multiple times, still very unclear on this part, and eventually said "you don't want it, okay we're busy" and hung up the phone. Surely I misunderstood and she didn't actually hang up on me because I asked for the price of the dishes, right? Right?!? So, giving the benefit of the doubt I called back and the original order taker answered. I explained that I had just called to place an order and may have been disconnected, but she cleared that up real quick - essentially confirming that indeed, they were "too busy" to tell me how much we were paying for the combo dinners/plates and I either wanted it or I didn't. So I didn't. I've read other reviews about rude staff demanding a tip and that kind of entitled and abrasive attitude sounds right in line with what I just experienced. I suspect they're adding a tip or some sort of service charge on top of their advertised menu prices for takeout but who knows. Frankly I wouldn't be opposed to a service charge if they were up front about it. They seem to be working as hard as they can to drive away their customers and put themselves out of business - I'll gladly help them along and spread the word. ZERO STARS
First time here. Parking and entrance is best in the back...if headed west, go past Saigon Kitchen about 1/3 block to entrance to parking area. Food was Great, Service was really good, and expedient. We will be back!
I love this place, the owner is amazing maybe owners I don't even know I just love them. The food is so banging the cocktails are insane, and they are chill even if you happen to walk in the back door LOL they take a lot of s*** from people, and still provide great service. Please jump anyone that you see being rude to the staff. Thank you and enjoy
