Ottawa has many Shawarma restaurants. This is one of the best with amazing quality, freshness and value. Family platter feed 6+ ppl @ $37.99. Owner and staff are friendly and provide great customer service
The potatoes were undercooked, I asked the lady why and she said most people don't like overcooked potatoes. Needless to say they did not have the crispyness you would expect from Shawarma. Since I asked for potatoes instead of rice, the lady filled half my plate with salad, and put the chicken on top of the salad so that the dressing got mixed into the chicken. The chicken portion was underwhelming. I think I left hungrier than I walked in. I would say not to eat here but something tells me very few people already do and the owner is cutting costs as a result.
Food was outstanding. I ordered the donar sandwich with sweet sauce. It was charbroiled over the grill. Very tasty. I also ordered a fatouch salad. Fresh crispy and the dressing was original fatouch dressing. I highly recommend this place. They are very friendly and helpful.
Delicious food, great value, kind/helpful staff. We arrived with three normal read a little rambunctious to friendly staff who took our order & prepared our family platter promptly. In the chaos we did not order drinks, so asked for glasses/cups of water later. It was a little strange that they did not have cups readily available, but we were given clean mugs filled with icy cool water. When it was time to leave the staff noticed, came over, & bagged our hefty amount of leftovers home without being asked. Thanks for your yummy food & attentiveness. Signed parents who don’t take their kids to restaurants much.
This place is amazing. I bought a family pack for less than fifty dollars to get me through exam season at uni. The service was efficient and there was no 'sucking up to the customer' feeling about the service. It was refreshing in that sense. The food is unreal, and they give you a huge amount of delicious food. Would recommend 10/10. Vegetarian options: They have an amazing salad! Didn't see any falafel but I highly doubt they don't have it. Being a traditional Lebanese restaurant. Kid-friendliness: No seats or anything, but there is nothing that can be tampered with by kids in the lobby. Mins, you know what I mean. Parking: Yup. There sure is some good parking.
Best shawarma in town, no question! Amazing service, even better food! My friends that came from Toronto last year are still talking about it to this day on a weekly basis. Don’t miss out on this incredible food experience!! Joe is the man!
I once ordered the shawarma family tray. I had to call to see how many people it can serve. The discription was not very clear of what it includes and how many people it can serve. The shawarma was good but not as expected. It does serve about 4-5 adults.Food: 3/5
Princess Shawarma is hands down the best shawarma I've had in Ottawa to date. Over the last 15 years I've had a chance to try out dozens of different shawarma restaurants across Ottawa. To date, I have to say that when it comes to: the flavour, the portion, the consistent quality, and the price.. it's like nothing else.
Uhh. Yikes. I've tried many shawarma places, and this one is pretty bad. I ordered the platter combo where you get 2 platters and 2 drinks. They gave me potatoes that were just sitting there for a while and didn't bother cooking fresh ones. The beef and chicken taste bizarre. The yellow rice was bland. The salad is weak; there's no crunch to it. The sesame sauce was watered down. Besides the price, there's nothing good about it. If you like mediocre shawarma and want to save money, go here I guess. Or you can spend a few extra dollars, go to Shawarma Prince down the street, and not feel like you wasted your time, and ruined your night.
Good food, fair pricing. Went in during a major power outage. Staff worked fast but also took care of customers, smiled, and were very friendly. Amazing job.
