Guava's Shawarma

It used to be a good experience when I ordered through Skip so thats why not giving it a 1 star but last two times the chicken has been really dry and hard. Pita bread is always ice cold and hard to eat. In summers it used to be better maybe due to sun heating the pita bread on its ride to my home but otherwise I like the potatoes and garlic sauce and hummus are fantastic. Hopefully they can improve. 1 star deducted for Price as they are not competitive in there pricing

The taste is good, but the amount is literally 1/2 of the Shawarma's Palace with the same price. Advice: saving in the portions of rice, potatoes or garlic sauce is not something smart for your business.

Really good - just had the family platter. 4 adults and 1 kid - not even close to finished. Having trouble understanding some of the complaints about portion size. Chicken a tad dry if eating on its own but no problem with the sauces in a sandwich

Recently moved to Manotick, I always order shawarma palace they are very generous with their portion compared to this spot. I ordered first time new in the neighbourhood for our movers and it was not enough for even 3 people very disappointed. We were all starving in the end had to eat the salad and pita. Even the sauce was little. Very disappointed Atleast put a whole bed of rice they put only half rice half potatoes and the chicken was dry..

Ordered a family shawarma Platter last night over the phone for pick up. Was being completed when my husband arrived. We asked for more potatoes less rice and they totally made sure that happened and even remembered the sweet sauce my hubby loves. The food was fresh and tasted great. I normally don't like the beef at most shawarma places as I find it dried out and stringy but this was not the case and it was great. Pita was fresh and my 3 year old, hubby and i loved everything. The salad had no fatoush pita chips but also meant for lunch today I had salad without soggy bits. Thanks.

Their shawarma is okey not that great. I found it’s really dry not enough souse inside. The falafels were not worth.

Their small shawarma is smaller than the one from shawarma prince, and costs approximately the same. The meat tastes less seasoned and juicy and they don’t put as much filling/sauce. Go here if you’re on a diet or if you want a snack.

unwelcoming and pushy staff. The food was tasteless and over priced. The chicken on the shawarma and salad I ordered were very dry. There are plenty of other shawarma locations that are much better. Also there were carrots on the Greek salad.. which is weird.

I went twice and ordered the same things to take out: chicken shawarma sandwich and a side order of potatoes with garlic sauce. The food was delicious. The price was competitive. Service was fast. I'd go back again. I dropped one star for the overall lack of ambiance.
