Safeway Pharmacy 13th Avenue

I can’t understand how this pharmacy is so awful. The tech I dealt with on my last visit was so rude and wouldn’t explain why she was giving me a form to fill out. When I asked she said it’s for insurance and sighed. She was also rude when scanning my scene card. I show up and my prescriptions I requested aren’t ready. I show up after talking to a pharmacist an hour before and they don’t have what they said they’d have ready. They switch things on my prescription and say there’s no difference instead of explaining. They couldn’t figure out how to get the insurance working and told me I’d need to call the insurance provider. I did and they said it looks good on their end. Went back and a different pharmacist said it was fine. I just don’t understand why I’m having so many issues at this pharmacy. I have never had so many issues at every other pharmacy I’ve been to combined.

I put in a refill request yesterday at 1000am. I was just advised that it was not quite ready...actually they didn't even start it...come back in 30 minutes with over 28 hours notice. I politely asked what they felt was an appropriate advance time to give for a refill. They didn't have one ..just said they were busy. I said every single time I ask for a refill I give minimum 24 hours notice and they never ever have it ready. I asked to cancel the order and I am moving pharmacies. No apologies...just okay ..they can call us for your information. I would be fine if this happened once in a while...but I get monthly refills of one medication. In the last 14 months it was ready twice...same advance notice as above. The other occasions had me coming back in 30 minutes to an hour

Really good pharmacy! Very professional

I just spent about 5 -10 minutes in line, but it was because the staff were talking with an older gentleman, who had a lot of questions. They showed a lot of kindness and patience, just the way I would want my parents to be treated. When I got to the front of the line, I was also treated with kindness, even though I know they were quite busy.

I found everything I needed, and the staff there was so nice and helpful when I couldn't find something in the aisle I was looking.

The last number of times I have called in for my prescription and let them give me the time to pick it up. No matter how much time they ask for the orders rarely seem to be ready. In some cases the orders are not even filled with over 24 hours notice.

Great pharmacy staff. Very kind couldnt fill my daughters prescription there but offered to call and fax to another pharmacy that could! Went to shoppers before that and basically they just told me to go somewhere else because they couldn't do it.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about medication and the grocery store workers are also doing a great job in helping me find things!

Safeway should change their saying. The new saying should be The Safeway to pay more! That store is getting crazy expensive!
