Safeway Northgate Mall Regina

Staff all having long faces, no smile or positive faces - Deli and cashier. Left saying “Happy New Year” both responded “yeah”. Seen the security on his phone, the whole time walking by him in the bakery section. And again by the front door.

This review is for the staff who work the deli/lunch area. They were super friendly and patient. I over heard one staff and she said she worked with Safeway for 34 years and was so kind. 5 stars

Yes ,I am disappointed at the prices at Safeway . The price has gone up more then three time this week. My husband and I are on a pension and try to manage putting food on the table everyday. My husband and I have been coming to Safeway for ten years ? Then fast forward to October 2022 . So what are the problems are you having when it comes to food? Well the meat is very high in price ,fruit, salad , Milk , Cereal, frozen food , and the bakery is beyond our Budget. So we try to shop for Mark down prices to get by. Which has change the way we eat now. We talk to the crasher and they said more prices will be constantly going up until the end of the year 2022. I Betty ask the cashier do you think price Gouging is going on. I didn't get an answer. How rude. So there is my opinion of Safeway and My husband and I said this is the last day for us shopping here and will look for a different shopping store. We think we're going to Superstore for the deals and they take the points card we get from Shoppers Drug Mark. Thank You for your opinion.

I was shocked that a bottled drink I buy at Super Store at 10 @ a dollar each or 1 for 1.29 was one $2.39 per bottle. I did however find the French Vanilla coffee that Super Store didn't have and got a great deal by buying 2. Will it become my regular shopping place? Not unless I run out of FV coffee. Too pricey and it's not close enough to home. A beautiful laid our store though.

Always good place to shop. The produce is always well displayed and fresh

Beautiful and large safeway with a tremendous amount of selections for all your grocery needs. This is my go-to safeway in Regina.

Some prices are okay, but you can do better if you shop around. Still, the price range isn't the worst I've seen. I found it odd that the store was so dimly lit. The store looks nice and they have a self-checkout thing, which is used by no one, of course.

Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Was a great shopping experience.

I wanted fresh buns hot dog and hamburger buns usually they have fresh bakery stuff was outdated old not fresh for the price won't b back very sad bakery and staff unfriendly
