I was a loyal customer for 25+ years. Once Sobeys took over the shelves are often empty, you don’t carry the products you used to, the cashiers expect you to bag your own groceries and your produce is the worst! I just bought a whole watermelon that cost me $9.99. Crazy price! When I sliced it open at home the following day, it was very obvious that it had been frozen. I had thrown out my receipt so that’s 10 bucks down the drain. The ONLY reason I still go into your store is because of the pharmacy. Unfortunately I end up picking up a few groceries while I’m there but I always know it’ll be a mistake. Your staff in the pharmacy are your only saving grace. They are a great bunch of people. I’m reluctant to change pharmacies but I believe that you leave me no choice. Really disappointed that my old true blue Safeway is gone!
A reliable grocer for most of your grocery needs. The place is clean, quiet, peaceful, and not too crowded. It is conveniently located in a strip mall with other shops nearby. Service is good.
This Safeway store is fantastic. I did my grocery on Thursday May the 30th.nThe employees are down to earth. The store manager is very disciplined. It's beyond my expectations. Honestly I don't mind spending a million dollars shopping in that store. Kudos to you all.
Horrible website Safeway, this is 2024 and we can't see your store stock online?? Update your system. Save-On Foods has accurate quantity inventory of each store on line. Get with it people. I have to call and wait for someone to check stock or drive there. Can't even see if you sell a particular product. I avoid Safeway for there lack of inventory accessibility. Otherwise this location is okay if not a tad more overpriced than competition.
5 for being a vibrant place to shop, good weekly sales, & atmospherically nice.nnMy favourite things about the store- lots of good bakery items to choose from, along with fresh deli goods+ helpful staff members for whenever I need help with anything.nnPlus, i can’t forget about the Starbucks+seating area, always enjoyable for relaxing and a coffee, always somebody nice to talk to.
