Safeway Lawson Heights

Great place to shop. The scene+ points they have now are a bit wonky. I already had a card that I wanted to combine points in but getting in contact with support is frustrating. I wish Safeway would have a similar point system like Optimum. It's easy, clear, and you don't have to buy a million of one thing to get a certain amount of points. Layout of the store makes sense, wish they had more options for seafood. Nice to have the option for self checkout or with a teller.

Safeway didn’t have the brand of cereal I was looking for. Their produce section is very clean, and it is a pleasant place to shop. I wish that I could check store stock availability before going, but that is more of a corporate issue. Over all a good store.

Always a great shopping experience. Staff are super-helpful and they have a large selection of everything in all departments. Love that they lowered the shelf heights a bit...l'm short and l can actually reach items on the top shelf now.

I have some environmental allergies lactose, soy, gluten intolerance Didn't have them until 3 years ago, when I was 60. I was raised on cow milk, homemade bread, etc. Why I suddenly became intolerant is anyone's guess. Anyhow, Safeway has a section called "Wellness Foods" and most of the replacement foods for the allergies I have are all in one area. Makes shopping a lot quicker. I don't know anyone who likes to go shopping, especially when allergies make you wander the entire store to find foods you can eat. So, Safeway has my vote as the best store to shop at.

Today one of the very kind staff handed me a loaf of fresh bread right out of the oven. It was absolutely delicious and a wonderful experience! Thank you for going above and beyond. And just in general I love going to this store! The staff have always been super friendly, it has a lovely assortment of cheeses and breads and it’s very well organized. It has also a really handy self checkout that takes cash!

Lots of gluten free items, store stocked well and clean. Unfortunately didn’t buy everything I needed here due to the high prices of produce.

I ordered banana cream pie from the bakery. Never knew that u can order pies . I thought it was limited to cakes. The banana cream pie was tasty. Thanks bakery department.

Wide range of selection and very fresh but prices are higher than other gerocery stores.

I shop at Safeway because of their convenient hours - open until 10pm and they have a wide variety of choices for most items.
