Safeway Jefferson

This day we were at the pharmacy picking up a new prescription and there were some complications and the pharmacy staff made sure that the medication was explained in simple and easy to understand terms, made sure the senior understood the instructions. They did not hurry the person along, they gave the time needed to answer all the questions without the feeling of being rushed. They were engaged and professional. Excellent customer service.

Went to pick up flowers and wanted them wrapped but no one at flower shop and no one was able to assist me when i asked a cashier. There also was no one at customer service. This was the first time where there was no assistance provided. Other then that, this location is usually pretty good to shop at. The produce is always fresh and i always find the items on my list. This location has closed it doors October 2018. Waiting to see what will open in it's place.

Nice staff, ample parkng, handicap parking and entrance. They will take your grocery to your car and place it in your car, you just need to request that. Nice location, pleasant staff. Produce Prices are high. Milk price is great and good and tastier milk.

One of the bigger Safeways in the city. Always clean, mostly friendly. Cashiers tend to be super nice and personable but the other staff positions act like they couldn't give a damn about customers. After a gym visit I went to pick up groceries and asked customer service to hold my bag behind the counter So I wouldn't be accused of stealing and the CS just looked at me like I was crazy.

I like shopping here - lots of selection and variety. The baked goods are always fresh. The only thing negative is the lack of cashiers when it's time to check out especially for a bigger grocery shop.

Very clean, modern store. Large and it looked newly renovated. Great staff; knowledgeable, helpful and brimming with personality. From the cashier to a couple of managers and a guy in customer service. Way to go crew

I shop at this store frequently. 90% of the staff is great. I do, however, have issue with a few employees. Brenda comments from other person is very rude, and quite uninformed as to Safeway policies. I purchased a product that was wrongly priced stale-dated shelf tag apparently which was on the bottom shelf. I got home, noticed the discrepancy and called the store. She checked into this for me and explained that yes, there was sale tag on the shelf that should've been removed. I had purchased 2 of the product in question, and she said that if I came back she would give me one for that price, but not the 2 I should mention the sale was buy 2 for ??. And she was rude and used a very condescending tone. I went to another location to return it, explaining what had happened, and they in fact apologized for her attitude, and for the fact that she was incorrect. Regardless of the circumstance, if the wrong price is posted, you receive the product free. They gladly refunded my money and again, apologized for Brenda. The next instance is with Victoria, another cashier who I think believes she runs the store. I was behind a customer in line who was shopping with her dad, I think who was visibly disabled. An item wouldn't scan and Victoria called for help. No one came so Victoria left the lane and went to check the price. The customer told her dad to go to the car because he couldn't stand. The man took with him a bag that contained 2 items. When Victoria returned, she loudly asked "Did he take his grocery and go to the car?" The woman said yes, explaining that he was having a hard time standing, so she told him to go since the items were already scanned and visible on the register, and the woman was waiting to pay for his items, as well as a few other. Victoria abruptly reprimanded the woman in a loud tone, telling her he was not in his rights to remove items before they were paid, and that regardless of who was paying for them, he could've been stopped at the door for theft. I could not believe her attitude and lack of regard for someone disabled particularly given that the items were scanned and the customer was standing right there with her credit card waiting to pay. I was disgusted as were other people around me. This is not acceptable behaviour from a Safeway employee. Clearly she power trips and thinks that embarrassing a man who is disabled gives her more authority. What a witch!! On the flip side, there are some great employees at this store. I think these 2 women are the exception but man ... what turn off.

Very disorganized. Similar products not grouped together. Flyer produce not in store. Loaded offers on app did not register, and all had to be manually entered at customer service. Very short expiration dates on dairy. Very frustrating experience, and I left before finding everything I needed due to frustration.

I was there a couple of days ago. It was around 1030 am. There were only 2 cashiers open. The line that I was in was an express and there were lots of people in line. The cashier took a customer who had a cart full of groceries and way more than the express limit.

Great store! I only gave 4 stars because being a large store with a very busy pharmacy, there was not enough staff resulting in a lineup. I am handicapped and could barely stand in the lineup.
