Safeway Inglewood

So overpriced and they don’t really have a lot of items stocked - I understand it’s a busy time of year, regrettably I was close to Safeway yesterday so I went there, paid 70.00 for only a few 6 things, stood at the deli case for 7 minutes while 5 people ignored me, I left and went to Sobeys for the rest of the items I needed but couldn’t get at Safeway - too bad they are the same company, I don’t think either will get my business anymore. Also not their fault but there were 4 different cars of seniors driving like absolute maniacs in the parking lot, I was nearly hit going in and then coming out there were 2 vehicles going well over 30km/h - I guess they could post signs to slow down, ‍

I think I'm done with Inglewood Safeway in St. Albert. Today I paid $3 for a cucumber, and when I cut it open it looks like it had been frozen at some point. A few weeks ago I bought some cake rolls to take back to the office...when I opened the package the cakes were moldy. I returned them to the store, not even a 'sorry you bought moldy product'. The staff doesn't ever look at you, unless you're at their cashier...then I suppose they have to. $11 for a lunch-size salad and $5 for 1 cup of watermelon cubes. And that stupid scene app...I'm done.

Price gouging and refusing to price match. They have the highest price of any grocery store and the highest price on a bag of ice. Even higher than a 711. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Till this corporate creed changes.

Expensive prices. I only shop here if it's last minute or they have a sale on items, but, that being said, their produce and meats are much better quality than most other large grocery stores. Just have to look for the sales!

Like any other Safeway. I like that they have lots of selection and their baked goods are usually pretty good. However, their prices are higher on average than Superstore or Save-On. And, in general, their store brands aren't as good as others.

I was shopping on Aug 5, stood calling for help to personalize my cake, no one came. Gave up. Went to till and there was a dog on the self serve counter with everyone laughing. Extremely unsanitary.

Carol at the Pharmacy was very helpful and patient with my senior mom. Great Job!

Parking isn't great, neither is the product selection. Dealt with a rude employee when self checkout malfunctioned. Not a great experience overall.

Great service, happy staff. The pharmacy staff, all of them, are all patient and hart working.

Excellent pharmacy. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and kind.
