This is a very nice store. My wife and I have shopped at lots of Safeway Stores and this one is great. The store is very clean and the ambiance is great. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the store. Besides the grocery part of the store there is a pharmacy, Starbucks and flower shop. This is a great store in a great location. This is a premium store so its prices are on the high side but there are lots of good sale prices also.
This place is hands down the fanciest grocery store I have ever stepped foot in. I only came in for a quick snatch and grab for dinner but it was very clean, shelves were well organized and the staff was friendly.
This is a great and well maintained Safeway with a good bakery. However! If you are used to the layout of Safeways, you can toss that knowledge aside before you walk in cause the layout in this one is totally different and admittedly confusing the first time that I went in. I'd suggest taking a glance at the pictures others have put here if you'd like to know what you're getting into
I wanted to write a review today telling the good, the bad & the ugly. I went to the Safeway at Sherwood Mall before 9am because my wife tells me the produce is really good. I found what I wanted and yes my wife was correct, the produce was good. Good. I found everything I wanted and more except a cashier to ring up my $200 grocery bill. Apparently just after Mother’s Day, a decision was made that there are no cashiers working prior to 10am. Bad. The lady looking after the self checkout said to me, I’m not suppose to do it but I put you through the till she was awesome. Leaving feeling pretty good I saw an older woman and man speaking near the courtesy desk employees probably supervisors. I heard the lady say “if we do it for one everyone will want it then.” I knew the way they were looking at the cashier who put me through and me that they were talking about her cashing me out. Ugly. I don’t normally shop here as it’s out of my way and I understand that profits come before all else but, customer service drives where I shop locally. The cashier makes me want to return, but your managers attitudes suck. I’m more than capable of bagging my own groceries but do I want to do that much….not likely….Thank you to the cashier for making my visit pleasurable but rethink your policy.
I had the most wonderful experience to the Floral Department at the Sherwood Park Mall location on Friday and Saturday. The staff here are fantastic. Lin and Ada helped arrange a beautiful bundle of fresh flowers, pretty paper and ribbon included for my 5 year old granddaughter performing at a nearby Dance Festival. They took the time to make sure this was extra special. They were really friendly and went above and beyond engaging with me. What a wonderful asset to your Team all of these ladies are.nIt was an exceptional experience for me, please give these ladies a shout out!
