Safari Spa and Salon

I went there for my first time today and absolutely loved it from start to finish. The receptionists were very friendly and smiling and made sure all my needs were met. I’m a very loyal customer and Stephanie did a fabulous job confirming with me what I wanted and then pulling through. She is very friendly and knowledgeable about her job and the products she uses. She was happy to answer all of my questions which made me feel reassured. I will definitely be back. :)

My favourite spa and salon in Red Deer! I've been going here for several years now to get gel manicures and my hair cut and colored and have always gotten excellent service. I actually went somewhere else once recently because I needed to get in at the last minute to get my nails done and Safari didn't have any openings - I will not make that mistake again. The service is excellent, the prices are reasonable for the sort of service you get, and the experience is divine. Keep up the good work!

Went for waxing services, very hygienic and did a good job. Staff were very friendly and the waiting room is great.

Absolutely amazing for body wax’s but awful for pedicures. The wax’s are so hygienic and painless and I go quite often, however I wanted to treat my mom for a nail care day here and boy do I NOT recommend. My nail technician ended up putting a pail pink coat over my French tip which turned the entire white strip brown and when I told her that if we could just do the rest with a clear topcoat rather than the pink, instead of fixing it up she quickly did one sweep with the white polish and left it so chunky, uneven, (even with a bubble/finger smudge!), and honestly so saddening that after all the prep that she’d just given up! Plus, she didn’t even bother to clean up the edges after the polish swoop, not even a little afterwards, because she claimed that her shift was over and didn’t have any time, therefore, she just left my skin and my cuticles covered with white gloop. Honestly, we’re it not for the waxing technicians I would never come back, seeing as now I have to go out and book an appointment somewhere else to redo a pedicure and remove such an embarsemt. ***Update Word got out to the Manager and she refunded my money onto a gift card I’m very greatful to the young man at the front desk who listened to me and passed the word on, thank you.

Absolutely by far, my number 1 favourite Spa & Salon. First, My stylist Jaclyn went above and beyond and worked her hair magic skills and made my hair feels amazing. Second, the girls at the front went way beyond my expectations to make me feel pampered and meeting all my needs. Will 100% be back.
