Sushi was definitely one of the better ones I've had - fresh and beautiful looking, especially the original creations. The food did take a little longer but likely because it was prepared right after we ordered. Our server was also friendly. Would recommend eating the roundhouse and spicy karage and of course can't go wrong with the tempura!
Best Japanese restaurant in Whistler! Very good experience, big amount of food compare to the KA-ZE, the Gyoza here is deliciousvery thin dumpling wrapper!. The size of sushi here is very big!
Quiet dining with seating that feels spacious and private at the same time. The quality of the sushi is beyond amazing and the gentleman who served us had amazing character. Really made a difference on our last night in BC.
Writing this review just to clarify that the previous picture of Donburi wasn't that accurate. The bowl looked way better when I visit here.
We ordered omakase sashimi and the chef really treated us! Service was excellent. The fish was high quality. We got great portions and tasty rolls. The only complaint is the amount of rice used on the rolls- while yummy, there's just a little too much.Food: 5/5
Best sushi I've EVER had. Blows this amazing place I used to go in San Francisco out of the water... Wanted to take a picture of our meal, but it was too good though and we devoured it Also, the atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend.
We ordered a couple of rolls and udon. I would say the sushi is mediocre at best in terms of quality. Our soft shell crab roll spider roll did not taste fresh. Prices are on the very high end 22 dollars for a bowl of beef udon which was pretty small. Our server Steven however was very attentive and checked on us multiple times which was the lone bright side of the meal
Excellent sushi and Japanese cuisine. Sushi was built upon high quality seafood both flavourful and textural tender as appropriate with salmon and snapper, firm but not tough for octopus, etc. Flavour combinations in rolls were also thoughtful and experience enhancing. A nice sushi counter set up to help complete the ambiance. Definitely a cut above Sushi Village and Harajuku Izakaya based on same dishes - maki, udon, karaage
